can you imagine what the whole camp would do if David left for a few days and then came back with a little golden retriever puppy named Scout? like, everyone would be so worried and then the day he comes back with a lil pupper in his arms the kids would go absolutely fuckin mad and then they'd all spend the rest of the summer teaching it tricks like that'd be so cute
