"Since my mother is away in Chicago for the weekend, I'm throwing a party tonight at Thistlehouse," Cheryl announced to Archie and the gang, "And you all should come."

"Why are you inviting us?" Betty questioned, confused.

Cheryl touched her chest and said,

"Because I'm full of the Christmas spirit and feel like spreading the December kindness to you inferior vagabonds."

Betty subtly rolled her eyes and nodded.

"So, you guys will come?" Cheryl persisted.

Archie opened his mouth to answer and looked to Veronica, Betty, Jughead, and Kevin.

"Yeah, sure," Archie finally decided.

"Perfect!" Cheryl proclaimed, "It starts at nine o clock, sharp."

She smiled almost threateningly,

"See you tonight!"

Then she left the Scooby Gang to argue with Archie about agreeing they'd go.

. . .

She had never seen him before, the boy with the blonde 80's mullet, and the dangling earring. He was kind of cute...she should've invited him to the party.

She put on a black skirt and a burgundy tie front crop top, and checked her make-up in her vanity mirror.

The first person to arrive was Josie who helped Cheryl set out the red solo cups and snacks.

Before they knew it, almost the whole school had arrived and everyone was dancing and drinking, being careless adolescents for the night.

Archie was drinking with Reggie, Jughead was sticking close to Betty and Kevin, and Veronica was dancing with Cheryl and Josie.

"I'll be right back," Cheryl made her way to the bathroom but as she was about to pass the front door, it opened.

It was the boy she had seen at the diner.

He was still wearing the denim jacket and jeans.

"Oh hello Justin Timberlake," Cheryl greeted, crossing her arms.

The boy snickered and held out his hand,

"Billy Hargrove."

Cheryl reluctantly placed her hand in his and shook it saying,

"I'm Cheryl Blossom."

"Oh I know who you are," Billy stated, sauntering pass Cheryl into Thistlehouse.

Cheryl eyed him defensively.

"So who told you about my father this time. Veronica? Kevin?"

Billy looked at her.

"Just a little birdy, I guess."

Then he turned and walked away into the crowd of inferior vagabonds, leaving Cheryl to fume wordlessly.
