"The Alpha?!" I heard the leader yell out in disgust.

I heard a deep chuckle, one I've memorized, making me stiffen. It's him. He's here.

"Yeah, the Alpha. Got a problem with that?" I heard him sneer, his footsteps coming closer to me, from behind. He grabbed my shoulder, and squeezed it, hard enough to the point where I wanted to shout out in pain, but I couldn't. He would only hurt me more if I did.

I looked at the rogues, seeing instead of panic, there was anger. In all of their faces.

"Now, have you been spreading lies about me, mate?" Alpha Xzavier asked, saying the word mate as if it shouldn't exist.

I only whimpered, showing my neck in submission.

"Alright. That ain't right. I may be a rogue, but I ain't stupid. Your mate is not suppose to show submission to you. You're suppose to be equals. Obviously, she shouldn't be with you. She will have to come with us." The leader said.

I looked up at Alpha Xzavier, seeing his eyes turn red with anger. He started laughing, a laugh that sent fear down my spine.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE MY MATE? ACTUALLY, DO YOU THINK I WOULD LET FILTHY ROGUES TAKE HER?"

"Well, you aren't treating her right. We can all see that. Especially with that bruise on her cheek." Black haired dude replied.

"She fell." Alpha tried to excuse. I scrunched up my eyebrows a bit, but not enough for him to see the action.

Blonde haired dude laughed, the same way Alpha did. "She fell?! Yeah right. Probably from the force of you punching or slapping her."

"You know what? I don't care! She's my mate. I can do whatever the hell I want with her. You can stay out of this!"

"No." I finally spoke up.

He looked down at me, glaring. "No?"

"Yes. I said no. I don't want to go with you. I want you to leave me alone. Please." I said, looking down.

I could hear his breathing get heavier and louder, as if he was trying to calm himself down, trying to show the rogues that he was a 'good mate and couldn't hurt me'.

"You don't have a choice, my dear mate." He spat out.

"Yes she does." Brown haired guy spoke up.

Alpha Xzavier only growled, not looking away from me. "Fine. If you really want to leave, you can. Go with the filthy rogues. Become one of them. I don't care. Just know that you will miss me. I know it. I'll be waiting, mate."

With that, he turned around, and started walking away. I let out a small breath of relief, only to have him stop.

"F**k it." I heard him whisper. He turned around, and pounced on me, making the both of us fall onto the forest floor, his canines biting into the crook of my neck, marking me as his.

"No!" I heard someone shout, but it was too late. I was his.
