Chapter 7: Explanation

(Something that I need to explain. Undyne and Alphys are together and they live in the same house. Papyrus, Sans, Gaster, and You, live together. Asgore and Toriel are together and live with Asriel and Frisk in the same house. Lastly Mettaton and Napstablook live together. Idk if I'm gonna let Papyton be a thing though...)

~Sans' P.O.V.~

"U-um... You remember when G-Gaster told you wh-what he did to me?" I nodded. "W-well... When he d-disappeared for a few y-years... I had g-gained an ability fr-from all the t-tests h-he ran on m-me.. That's the g-gaster bl-blaster form I h-have and why I-I'm a skeleton..." I looked at her with slight sadness, but I'm more afraid of what she might do in the future. "I-I can't r-really control myself i-in that form, b-because of the o-over flow of m-magic into my s-system... I-It causes m-me to be disoriented a-and lose my gr-grip on who I am..." She tries to explain to me. I really need to get Gaster here and ask him a few questions.

"Hey kiddo? I'ma bring Gaster in here, so I can ask him a few questions. Is that alright with you?" She just nods, but looks scared. "S-Sans..." I turn to look at her before I leave. "Yeah?" She looks down, with M/C tears rolling down her cheekbones. "I-I'm sorry for h-hiding this! I didn't m-mean to scare y-you! I just didn't want to hurt anyone!" She cried out, falling to her knees, crying her nonexistent heart out. "I didn't want you guys to know that side of me. I was scared I would hurt one of you, or worse, KILL someone. That's why I hid that side of myself from you all."

Now I feel bad for Y/N. She doesn't wanna hurt anybody, so she forces herself to have limited amounts of sleep each night. I know I have sleepin' problems, but that nothin' compared to what she's puttin' herself through. "It's alright kiddo, I trust ya. I can tell you wouldn't hurt a fly as long as you're in control. That's why I'ma bring Alphys and Gaster here. Maybe us three can try and find a way to help you with that, 'problem' of yours. Who knows, maybe you can finally get so good sleep." "Sans?" "Yeah kid?" "N-no experiments on me, got it?" Her facially expression darkened. "You got it kiddo. I'll make sure they know." With that said, I teleported back to my house.

(Gaster's P.O.V)

"NO I HAVE NOT. LAST I SAW THEM, Y/N WAS CRYING LOUDLY IN HER ROOM AND SANS WENT TO GO SEE WHAT WAS THE MATTER WITH HER. WHEN I WENT UP TO CHECK ON THEM, NEITHER OF THEM WERE THERE." Papyrus yelled from the kitchen, while making his famous spaghetti. I frowned, knowing something was going on. As if Sans knew what I was going to do next, he arrived. "Hey Gaster, I need you to come with me to go get Alphys and head back to Y/N. Can you please come with me? This is real important right now." Sans sounded worried, as well as on the verge of tears. "Y/N is having some trouble with her magic and I need you and Alphys to help me, help her. Now, can we please go and help her? She's scared and needs our help right now." I nodded, finally letting Sans take me to Alphys, then to Y/N. Soon after Sans had picked up Alphys, he took both of us to Y/N. We were now in the middle of a clearing, but with no sight of Y/N. "✌︎❒︎♏︎ ⍓︎□︎◆︎ ⬧︎◆︎❒︎♏︎ ⬧︎♒︎♏︎ ♓︎⬧︎ ♒︎♏︎❒︎♏︎✍︎"

Sans nods his head, but then starts to look around the clearing. "Y/N! It's ok! They're here to help." After a few minutes of silence, Y/N came out from behind a tree. She was wearing a very long jacket, covering her top and ended at her knees. She had no real pants on, but she does have shorts underneath, just to be weary. I quickly noticed her face was different than before. (Y/N? What happened? What caused your face to change, and why are you out here of all places?)

"Hold up Dad. Let her explain before you go blowing her up with questions." I turn to see Sans nod towards Y/N. Y/N nodded and started to talk. "After you had disappeared, Dr. Gaster, I had something happen to me. It was after your last experiment you did with that skull beast you had found and named a 'Gaster Blaster'. When you had done the test, I couldn't sleep properly for a week. You, soon after, disappeared. I, somehow, was able to sleep 'normally' after a few nights." She looked scared to say her next sentence.

"I-I then woke up to a huge, unimaginable pain in my spine. I was screaming as loud as I could, hoping you could hear me, not knowing you had disappeared at the time. I then felt more pain in my hands, feet, and legs. I looked down and noticed they were changing in their size and shape." She had gone through a large transformation whilst I was in the void? Hum. I wonder. "That's when my head started to hurt REALLY bad, almost like a migraine, but ten times worse. I ran to my 'bathroom' and looked in the mirror, seeing my face changing in shape and size, much like my other body parts."

Y/N kept explaining. "Once I had seen myself in the mirror, something snapped inside me. My true self faded away like smoke into the atmosphere. I don't really remember what happened after that moment, until I gained my true self back...." Y/N finished, looking like she could cry at any moment.

"I-it's a-alright Y/N. W-we'll try t-to help you." Alphys tries to calm her down, which seems to work as Y/N goes to hug her. "Thanks Alphys, but I don't think anything can be done to help me..."
