The rain falls outside. The once bright, morning sky was now shadowed by clouds. Sleeping silently, (Y/N) snuggles deeper into her warm sheets.

The girl had been staying here for weeks now. Alphys, being the kindly monster she can be, had opted to keep her out of the lab for as long as possible. Gaster and Sans agreed, seeing no true harm with it. They knew how hard it would be for you to go near one, so they stayed patient.

Alphys had come up with a short time solution, though it could be long-term depending on how quickly and efficiently could create the medication. She had titled the medication, 'Magica Facere', or Magic Reduction. Yes, the medication was named in Latin, but it had a nice ring to it and hopefully (Y/N) will take it without any problems.

Speaking of whom, the girl walked drowsily into the living room, noticing everyone there. "Morning." Was all she said as she walked into the kitchen. Sans watched as the blanket she held was dragging on the floor behind her. He chuckled to himself, finding her tired state amusing.

After fixing herself a lovely bowl of her favorite cereal, she sat down and began to eat. Alphys and the others began their conversation once more but in a more hushed voice. "From the information, I got from Sans and (Y/N), I've deduced that (Y/N) is having an overflow of magic and it is causing her to lose control. The medication that I have created should be able to lower her magic levels." Alphys' voice sounded very serious, causing the stuttering to disappear.

"The reason she wasn't able to sleep at night was that her body was set to an all-night energy creating mode. This caused her to only get an hour of sleep and transform once that hour was up. The build-up releasing mass amounts of magic energy once the transformation began." She explained.

"So will I ever have to go to the lab?" (Y/N) asked, startling everyone. "I h-highly doubt it. If m-my hypothesis is c-correct, then you'll w-won't have to g-go in there for a v-very long time." (Y/N) smiled in joy. Running up to Alphys, (Y/N) hugged her and let a tear slip. "Thank you."

Alphys smiles and hugged her back. "Of course. There is one room that I-I need to sh-show you though. I-it's for wh-when you do transform. The m-medicine may take away the b-beastly, but n-not the pain, or the tr-transformation itself."

Nodding her head, the skeleton girl followed the dinosaur woman carefully. The hall seemed to darker as they got closer to a secluded room. Once the door was opened, (Y/N) walked inside to inspect it. The walls were pure white but seemed to have a certain shininess to them. The floor was blacker than the darkest night or the cruelest heart.

Looking above her, she noticed how the ceiling had these long lights that seemed to be embedded into the ceiling, for safety reasons. Then came these strange colored ceiling panels. There were five different colors. Green, blue, yellow, red, and pink. Each having a different purpose and meaning that (Y/N) didn't know of.

The room reminded her of her old cell in Gaster's laboratory, but she felt safer somehow. Maybe it was because she could see Alphys through one of the walls.

One of the walls had this strange ability to flip around at the push of a button. There was no way anyone could go between the rooms without going through the hallway, but you could see what happens in the other. Alphys was smiling and waving, showing that she meant no harm in being over there.

After exploring the room, Alphys decided to give (Y/N) the medication, seeing as it was getting late, to begin with. (Y/N) tilted her head in confusion. "But I only got up three hours ago?"

Sans chuckled, walking in on the conversation halfway through. "You woke up at 5 pm, kiddo. You were dead tired."

"Oh." Was her only response. "Don't worry about it kid. You need your sleep. You haven't slept right in years, so why not trying to now? It feels great." Sans then gave her a kind-hearted smile, showing he was being honest. She nodded, taking the medication from Alphys and following Sans to her bedroom.

"Go ahead and lay down kid." (Y/N) hesitated before nodding and walking in. She then sat on the bed, not trusting herself to sleep. "How about I stay right here and wait for you to fall asleep? I'll make sure you don't transform and so you don't hurt yourself. How's that sound?" Sans offers, standing next to her nightstand. She nods, feeling slightly better than before with the idea.

Looking at the dosage on the back of the bottle, she notices that it is two pills every night before bed. Tossing both pills into her mouth, (Y/N) swallows them and lays down. "Thank you, Sans. You're so kind to me." Sans smiles. "No problem, sugar-skull." (Should that be his nickname for you? Please leave your ideas in the comments! I wanna know what his nickname for the reader should be!)

Slowly, but surely, (Y/N) fell asleep. Sans sleeping in a rocking chair in the corner of the room, snoring per usual. It was quite a cute sight seeing these two sleeping so soundly. They also seemed like children. Such happy children.

(Boom, another chapter is done. I hope you enjoyed it! Have a wonderful day!)
