Beginning

"The world has changed...

I feel it in the water...
I feel it in the earth...
I smell it in the air...

Much that once was, has lost, for none now live who remember it.

It began with the forging of the great rings.

Three were given to the elves, immortal, wisest and fairest of all beings.
Seven to the dwarflords, great miners and craftsmen of the mountainhalls.
And nine... nine rings were gifted to the race of men, who above all else, desire power.
For within these rings was bound a strength and will to govern each race...

But they were all of them deceived for another ring was made...

In the land of mordor in the fires of mount doom, the darklord, sauron, forged in secret a masterring to controll all others and into this ring he poured his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life...

One ring to rule them all...

One by one, the free lands of middle earth fell to the power of the ring...
but there were some who resisted!

A last alliance of men and elves marched against the armies of mordor and the slopes of mount doom, they fought for the freedom of middle-earth.

Victory was near..

But the power of the ring.. could not be undone...

It was in this moment, that isildur, son of the king took up his fathers sword and cut of the finger on which the "one ring" was placed.

And with that sauron the enemy of the free people of middle-earth... was defeated.

After the defeat of sauron, isildur was lead into the heart of the mountain by Elrond of rivendell. However the ring had already taken over isildur's heart. He took the ring and left to his kingdom. In time his people had grown suspicious of him and therefore he left, but not without leaving anything for someone to find out about his life. He wrote a whole library full of stories about himself and the ring.

The longer he had the ring in his possession, the more and more he became consumed by it. But to every story comes an end and his was rather sad. The ring of power betrayed and abandoned him. Isildur was killed by an orc afterwards. The ring fell into the possession of a creature named gollem. However after 500 years, the ring betrayed and abandoned him just as it did with isildur. The ring then came to be with a hobbit, none other than bilbo baggins. He took it with him to the Shire and kept it for sixty years. He still as it and gandalf the grey, the wizard who travelled with bilbo and 13 dwarves, amongst them thorin oakenshield, to reclaim the kingdom of erebor, has kept his eye on bilbo since the moment the ring was found..."
