I sat in the cockpit of the Shadow. That is the ship Ahsoka and I use. I was fiddling with a ring on my finger. It meant a lot to me. It reminded me of him every day. It reminded me every day of what he said. "Run, run as fast as you can. Stay away, stay safe. We will see each other again.....I love you." Those words echoed in my head every night and every morning. I had dreams of our last moments together and what I said to him.
"I love you, too Alex. I'll miss you. Until text time." He took the ring and slipped onto my finger. "Go." He sighed out.
That was the day I left the Empire. He an Imperial Agent. I a Rebel pilot and Jedi Apprentice. Could it ever work out? I haven't seen him since the day I left. That was a few months ago. I hear him though. He transmits information valuble to the Empire. Even more valuble to the Rebels. No one, but me knows that he is a fulcrum Agent, and it has to stay that way if I want him to stay alive.
I, myself, couldn't believe it when it first hit me, but I came to terms with it. Will you be able to?
