"Students, listen up! We have a new student joining our class." Mr Kim announced.
Seulgi opened her eyes when she heard what Mr Kim said and turned to the Joyri couple. "Hey girls," Seulgi removed the lollipop in her mouth and called out to them. "New student means" "Fun." The three of them said in unison with a grin on their faces.
A bespectacled girl with dark brown hair tied in a ponytail entered the class.

'She looks familiar...' Seulgi thought.
The girl's eyes scanned the classroom and stopped at Seulgi's direction before speaking.
"Hi, my name is Bae Joohyun but you can call me Irene." She bowed to the class after introducing herself.
'Bae Joohyun. It's that girl last night!' Seulgi thought to herself.
"Hey Seul, the only vacant seat is on your left." Joy said. "What?" Seulgi scanned the classroom before sighing. She doesn't want Irene to sit beside her, but at the same time, a part of her wants Irene to.
"Irene, please take a seat beside Seulgi." Mr Kim pointed to the seat beside Seulgi.
'She's coming.....oh, she didn't bring her textbook. Wait...Why the hell do i even care?'
Seulgi shook her head before placing the lollipop back into her mouth and continued to play her mobile game.
"Hi, i'm Irene." The girl said. "Yeah, i know." Seulgi replied without looking at her.
Irene frowned. 'Why is she so rude? Wait, why does her voice sound so familiar?'
"Your voice sounds familiar. What's your name?" Irene asked Seulgi.
"Her name is Seulgi." Jennie Kim, a student sitting in front of Seulgi, replied Irene since she knows that Seulgi would always ignore others.
Irene looked at Jennie's nametag. <Kim Jennie> "Thanks Jennie."
"You're welcome. You can call me Jen." Jennie said, smiling sweetly at Irene.
"Hey neighbour, you shouldn't talk during lesson." Seulgi said. Jennie turned to the front immediately after hearing what Seulgi said.
Seeing Jennie smiling to Irene, Seulgi felt a little...jealous?
"What's wrong with you?" Yeri whispered to Seulgi. "Yeah, since when do you follow the school rules?" Joy added.
"Ughhh...shut up." Seulgi replied.
Meanwhile, Irene took out a bracelet from her pocket and stared at it. 'I don't even know her name...How do i return this to her?' She thought.
Seulgi stole a glance at Irene and saw the bracelet Irene was holding. 'What?! Isn't that mine? How can i get it back?'
"What do you mean? Just do it like what we always do." Joy said. "Yeah, just snatch it. It's yours anyway." Yeri told Seulgi.
'Did i say that out loud?' Seulgi thought. Somehow, Seulgi didn't want to hurt Irene. She felt like she needed to protect the latter from harm.
'She's beautiful...' Seulgi thought, staring at the girl beside her. "Cute." Seulgi muttered under her breath when she saw Irene pouted.
Irene caught Seulgi staring at her when the former turned to look at Seulgi. Seulgi cleared her throat and turned away.
"Hey, did you perhaps...fall for her?" Yeri asked Seulgi. "You've been staring at her for the past ten minutes." Yeri added. "W-what? O-of course not!" Seulgi replied. "Don't lie~ you stuttered." Joy teased Seulgi, causing the latter to frown.
"There's only one person in this world who owns my heart. And you should know who that person is." Seulgi said to them seriously.
"Seul, maybe it's time to let go of the past."Joy said. "Joy's right. It's been three years."
"Don't you dare to tell me what to do!" Seulgi exploded with anger and stormed out of the classroom.
"What happened?" Irene asked the Joyri couple. "None of your business." Joy replied while Yeri just stared expressionlessly at Irene.
'What? Another two rude classmates.' Irene thought.
"Hey Irene, you'll get used to this." Jennie turned around and told her. "You want to join me and my friends for lunch?" Jennie asked.
"If your friends don't mind." "I'm sure they won't mind. They're really friendly." Jennie said. "Thanks Jennie." "Jen." "Okay Jen."

"Do you know why they are so rude?" Irene asked Jennie when they were walking to the canteen.
"Don't tell anyone. Seulgi and i have been neighbour since we were young, but her family moved out last year."
"That's why she called you neighbour earlier."
"Yup. And i was in the same primary school as her too. Most people, who doesn't know Seulgi, would think that she is a callous person who bullies others just for fun when in fact, she's just a child who was scarred and afraid."
"Why?"
"You shouldn't ask. I can only tell you this much." Jennie said. "Let's not talk about this anymore. So, tell me, where are you from?"

Seulgi went up to the rooftop and laid on the ledge of the building. She closed her eyes and sighed.
'How could i let go of the past. I still love her, so so so much...and I miss her so much...' She thought as tears streamed down her cheeks.
