Chapter 14

Skye's P.O.V

when daniel and i arrived at africa it was only 23rd december so that gave me enough time to get presents. sort of...

we got our bags which took for ages because they got lost but whatever. we are currently on the coach and luckily our hotel is the first stop because i hate coaches. "are you alright skye i can't believe we're actually here." daniel said "yeah i'm fine how are you and yeah i know. i forgot to tell you i have family here so is it okay if we go and surprise them later since it's 11pm right now and they wouldn't appreciate us going now." i explained "yeah i'm great and that's fine we aren't going to the safari until next week so we have a whole week to just chill and explore." he says "oh yeah i know my way around i lived here for 5 years" i say "did you really i've known you for how long 6 years and i never knew that" he laughs "yeah well there's a lot you don't know about me" i say "oh yeah are you sure about that skye williams" he laughs and then hugs me. "so can you give me a clue on what you've got me for christmas since we are going to be together for our first christmas together." he asks i laugh nervously "noooo wait until christmas" "you haven't got me anything yet have you" he says "yeah, maybe, no." i stutter we both laugh and then the coach stops. i get up and shout "yes let's get off this thing!" and push past people. they look at me weirdly but i just want to get off. when i step off the bus i immediately fall in love with the atmosphere. "skye i know you couldn't wait to get to africa but you could wait a few more seconds surely" daniel laughs "yeah and i did i waited for the seconds that it took me to push past those people. i'm sorry but i had to get off that bus" i laugh we both laugh and get our bags. we go into the hotel and head to the reception desk.we get our keys and head to our room. when we get in the room. we put our stuff away and get ready for bed. by then its 12:31 am and i flop on the bed and fall straight to sleep.
