Chapter 17

Skyes P.O.V

When i woke up I was still on the couch but I was alone. It was really quiet but then I heard the boys in the kitchen so I was relaxed. I went on my phone to find like 35,000 texts off India. They read:

Skye where are you i need your help

skye please reply he's going to find me

skye he's seen me

skye he's coming

skye please i'm in his car

skye it's really dark

i don't know where he's taking me

skye i want you to know that i love you you're my best friend and sister

skye the car's stopped

skye please come and get me

i'm in a dark room and the only light is my phone

my phone only has 29% left

skye please come and save me

HE'S COMING BACK

SKYE HELP COME QUICK!!!

oh no india needs me she sent these 15 minutes ago well she sent the last one 15 minutes ago. i jumped off the couch put my coat over my clothes because i slept in my clothes for some reason. "guys i need to go somewhere and i have no time to talk i need to go now. see you all later love you." i shout i hear them say ok and then i run out the door and get in my car. wait i don't even know where she is

i ring india:

s: india where are you please describe the place to me

I: it's big and grey and we drove for about 5 minutes it looks like the laser tag place

s; ok i'll be there in a minute

i: okay i love you skye you're my best friend and i'll never forget you

s; no don't say that trust me you're going to make it and i'm going to make sure of it

i: thank you

s: no problem

i; oh no he's coming back i've got to go bye!!

CALL ENDED

i'm really worried about her i speed up in my car and then i get to where she is. i park my car and then run to the entrance. i get to the door and of course it's locked. i go round the back and i see a window that's slightly open but it's big so i grab a pipe that's on the floor and smash the window. i wasn't worried about anyone seeing me because it's down an alleyway and this place has been abandoned for years. i climb through the window and i hear a scream. i immediately know it's india.

panic rises through my body from head to toe. i jump down off the window sill and go over on my ankle i underestimated how far the window sill was from the floor. i get up and run into a long corridor.

when i go left first and when i do i hear footsteps coming towards me i panic so turn around and go right. it's pitch black as i get further into the corridor. i turn on my phones flashlight and then i see a door at the end of the corridor. i speed up and i open the door and i walk into a big dark room i shut the door and then put a chair that i found against it under the door handle so no one could open it.

i say india's name "skye, Skye i'm in the corner at the end of the room." she replies. i run to there and when i see her my heart drops. she has bruises all over her body and cuts and a black eye. "oh my god India who did this" i ask as i go and sit down and hug her "i-i-t was conor he broke into the house and then knocked me out. i woke up in his car and then he brought me back here and beat me up saying things like when he's finished with me he'll get Zach and things like that" she says as she starts crying. i hug her even tighter and rock her back and forth. Then we hear someone try and open the door. we both jump "india we have to go NOW i've put a chair there to stop him but it won't hold for long come on we have to go!" i explain.

we both get up and india nearly falls over but i catch her "are you okay?" i ask "yeah i'm fine let's go" she replies we get near the door at the end of the room. when india collapses. i have daniel on speed dial so i go to ring him but as i go to press call. the lights in the room turn on and i see Conor and india unconscious on the floor.

" well, well, well if it isn't Skye Williams long time no see am i right?" he snarls "yeah and it was the best thing ever" i reply as he walks towards me "so i've heard you've got a new boyfriend how are you two i hope everything's good between you two" he says. "oh drop the nice act i know you're the complete opposite of nice" i snap "tut tut Skye you're going to be sorry you came" he says as he comes closer to me.

"PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN! NOW!" he shouts "okay" i reply because as i put it down i dial daniels number and then put my phone behind me. i hear the phone connect i just hope conor didn't. "conor you can't control me anymore leave me and india alone!" i shout he slaps me "oh you think hitting me is going to do any good well think again. Also how did you get in this building i mean it's the big grey building that looks like the laser tag building and it got abandoned years ago am i right?" i say loud enough so daniel knows where i am. i hear the call end so i know daniel's on his way.

"i'll be back" he says and he leaves the room. he's so stupid. india is now awake. "india come on if we don't leave now we're dead come on you can do it." i say. we both stand up and go out the door into the corridor since conor went out the other one which we were originally going to go out of. we hear conor go into the room and we speed up. we hear him shout our names. god why is this corridor so freaking long! we hear a gunshot and we jump. we hear him come into the corridor. the gun shoots again and it goes in my arm. i carry on running and then he shoots again and it goes in my stomach. i feel the blood pouring out my vision goes blurry but i carry on running.

we get to the window and climb out of it and he shoots again and it catches my leg. it's the same leg as the one the shark got. we fall on the floor and lean against the wall. "are you ok at least we didn't get shot" india says "yeah i- i- i'm f- f- ine" i say as i lose breath. "skye what's up" india panics. i show her my arm leg and stomach she starts crying and grabs my phone out of my hand and dials 911. she tells them what happens and then i hear daniel and the boys and then daniel picks me up and takes me to the car he lies me on the back seat. then i'm at the same point again...

where everything goes black.
