The Difficult Decision

I can't believe this, only 3 days until Christmas Eve and I got Cole for a Secret Santa. The worst part is, I can't get help from anyone because it's supposed to be secret. It's going to be forever before I decide of a gift for Cole.

It needs to be special.

I have five days to decide.

ONLY FIVE DAYS.

I wonder who has me.....

*slaps in face* Not the time, Crystal! You need to think of a gift for Cole. Something he would not expect.

He likes cake, but you expect me to get a whole cake and sit it in a box for five days? That's be too messy.

Maybe I could get help from Nya.

Oh right, she left already.

So what am I supposed to do?

I don't know. I have to think hard. I mean, this gift is for Cole. It has to be special.

Really special.

I just need to figure out what.

That night I went onto the computer and looked up "Perfect Gifts". It didn't show anything but necklaces and jewelry. Then, I typed in "Perfect Gifts for Boys.". It showed a bunch of Monster Trucks and Race Cars. Then, I tried "Perfect Gifts for Men.". It was Mustache Shavers and deodorant.

Gross.

So, then I typed in "Gifts for teenage boys named Cole who you have a crush on.".

Guess what came up?

"We couldn't find results for 'Gifts for teenage boys named Cole who you have a crush on'".

I just closed my computer. I really hate the internet sometimes.

So the internet was no help. I just had to choose for myself what gift to give Cole by Christmas Day, because I didn't want to be the only person who didn't give a secret santa gift.

"Crystal, what are you doing?", Lloyd said, opening my door. Hey, ever heard of privacy? "It's the middle of the night!", I whisper-shout at them. "But you're up..", Jay shot. "And you're asking us why we are up late.". "I'm not doing anything!", I lied. "Then, why do you have a computer on your lap?", Jay asked, very concerned. "Because I left it there this morning!", I lied again. I'm very good at lying, but apparently, it's not working. "Oh really?", Jay said, with his hands on his hips. "You were reading a book this morning!". "Or was I?", I shot back. That, my friend, was the dumbest thing I ever said. "Crystal, we're not stupid.", Lloyd said. "Well, I'm not stupid.".

"Hey!", Jay shouted very loudly. "You guys are gonna be hurt if you don't leave!", I threatened.  Then, out of nowhere, Jay walked up to me and ended up kicking his foot on the side of the bed. Jay winced, then bounces on one foot. "I rest my case!", I said with a smirk.

"Whatever, let's just go, Jay.", Lloyd said, eyeing me suspiciously. Jay finally stopped hopping around and limped dramatically out the door, closing it behind him. I really despise being the smallest. But the good part is that I'm faster than everyone on the team.

Haha! Take that, Zappy. (That's what I'm gonna call Jay tomorrow if he messes with me.).

I absolutely hate it when the boys just won't mind their own business.
