It was a nice, sunny Friday in Daylonville and Rex Javison was counting down the minuets until his 8th period was over. There were only ten minuets left but he had trouble concentrating on his work and listening to his teacher. He was supposed to be taking notes but he just couldn't get his mind off the clock.
"Mr.Javison is there a reason your attention is not on the board?" Mrs.Leeson, the algebra teacher, asked.
"Sorry Mrs.Leeson. It won't happen again." He replied.
"It better not." She snapped.
Rex could not stand any of his teachers. They all saw him as the wild, crazy, gothic guy that showed no respect for his elders.
It just wasn't right. When his brothers were in school all of their teachers loved them, and they were jocks who put even less effort into school than he did.
Mrs.Leeson was just about to continue when all of a sudden the bell rang and everyone quickly gathered their stuff so that they could go home.
Once Rex made it outside he met up with his two friends, Andrew and Karla.
Andrew was handsome. He had blue eyes and shiny golden hair that shagged down into his face, he always wore a beanie over it, he had a black skateboard with a skull on it, and always dressed in flannels and jeans.
Karla was a complete goth. Her hair was died black, she had green/brown eyes, always wore black ovcourse, along with long tailed jackets, and she wasn't normal either. She was a witch.
Rex himself was pretty attractive as well. He had spiky brown hair, grey eyes, always wore plain t-shirts and black long tailed jackets just like Karla, and just like both of his friends he always wore jeans.
He was a lot more like Karla than Andrew though. Including the fact that both him and Karla were both extremely pale and Andrew had a nice tan.
They were all attractive. They just all seemed to be invisible to the town.
Andrew was the only one in the group that was normal or in other words human. He still was involved with all the supernatural problems they got theirselves in though.
They were about to walk through the park when Rex got a text from his dad saying that he needed to come home instantly. So he did just that.
When he walked through the door he saw his mom cleaning the counters and his dad talking on the phone.
When his dad saw him come in he hung up though.
"What's going on?" He asked his parents.
"What is this about your grades failing?" His dad asked.
Rex then looked down. "I've just been having trouble concentrating. I'll bring them up. I promise." He said.
"You better because we can't have anyone in this family slacking off. You already do that too much. You need to start acting more like your brothers." Mr.Javison said.
"Speaking of your brothers, they will be coming down to visit for spring break. They will be here tomorrow." Mrs.Javison told him.
Well that just meant trouble. Although his brothers were a bit out of control they were actually really sweet and had healthy blood. They were a big temptation for his inhuman cravings.
Thankfully though there were many places around town that sold beverages such as coffee and milkshakes and such to curb those cravings temporarily, so he should be fine.
Little did he know that finding a way to tame his hunger was about to get pretty difficult.
