AUTHORS NOTE.

I wanted to make some points before I start this fanfiction and please read them so I don't get shouted at later on.

1. I don't know a lot about midwifery back in the 1920's. I have done research and I have some knowledge on it but it isn't as good as my knowledge on 1950/60's midwifery. Therefore, if it is not historically correct then you will simply have to ignore it because let's be real, this is fictional.

2. The story is inspired by Call the Midwife and after receiving an anon ask on tumblr - requesting an imagine - I decided to turn it into a full blown story because I loved the idea so much. As the story is inspired by Call the Midwife, some aspects of the show will run into this story. For example, staying with the nuns and stuff. If you haven't watched the show before, you really should, then it doesn't matter.

3. Updates may not be as frequent as 6 inch because right now, that is my priority. However, when 6 inch is finished, this story will be updated almost daily if sixth form is nice to me.

4. This story is set between season 2 and season 3 - will eventually lead into season 3 - so Michael has been in Small Heath for about a year. Michael is also older in the story, let's say like 20/21.

5. There will be some triggering and sensitive subjects spoke about throughout the story but i will always give a trigger warning at the start. If you are triggered by anything that's to do with birth or babies then let me know and i will make sure that i tell you if one of those particular triggers are coming up.
