her alias was bluevi, but usually known as violet. violet hyde. she used the bluevi as an alias in the the palace arcade.

she had just moved into hawkins a few days ago, and she wasn't excited at all. she hated moving. she hoped maybe some good would come to this, but in all honestly, she doubted it strongly. she wasn't as normal as everyone else, but she guessed that was kind of good. right?

the new-in-town dirty blonde, stepped out of her brother's vehicle, making sure to take her skateboard with her. she watched as her brother drove away and flipped him off in her swore hatred towards her step-brother.

she wore some normal jeans with a white t-shirt, an old leather jacket, and her hair fell down her shoulders, all wavy.

she stepped inside the sort-of crowded arcade, hawkins was a small place so many people were around, specfically kids who would play arcade games.

she spun her head, trying to match eyes with anyone who worked here. a guy behind the counter, he had long-ish hair and he was eating cheese balls.

"uh, hey, you work here?" the younger girl asked, her voice was soft and quiet.

the guy looked at her and nodded.

she swallowed. "okay, uhm, cool. what do you think is the best game to play?"

"well, those four boys who always come in here every sunday tend to play dig dug. they want the highscore."

she smirked knowingly what she thought she should play. "thanks." she walked over to the dig dug machine, scanning the buttons & joystick, she set aside her skateboard. "let's beat the top highscore."

and she did.

--

here she was the next morning, at hawkins middle school. her brother, jonas, pulled into the parking lot, they both got out after he parked. she placed her skateboard down and skated off towards the school doors.

immediately, she was accompanied by the principal. "you must be violet. follow me." she kicked up her skateboard and held it underneath her left arm as she walked into the class he led her to. he closed the door behind her as she glanced around, but avoided any eye contact with students.

"ah, this must be our new student," the teacher, mr. clarke, grinned towards her excitingly.

"indeed. all yours," the principal nodded.

the principal left and violet darted for the empty seat in the back, instantly getting stopped by mr. clarke.

"ah- you're not getting away that easy."

violet huffed and stood next to the desk, clutching her skateboard underneath both arms while staring at the ground, waiting for the teacher to introduce her, because she most definitely wasn't going to.

"dustin, drum roll," he said, looking at a kid in the front. he had a hat and brown curly hair. he closed his book and started tapping the book rapidly.

violet clutched her bag strap tightly, clearing my throat quietly after shifting her skateboard to underneath her arm.

"class, please welcome, all the way from sunny california, the latest passenger to join us on our curiosity voyage, violet!"

her heart stopped beating for a second once he said her name.

"all aboard, vi." he grinned at the girl. she quickly sped-walked to the desk in the back corner and sat down, placing her bag and skateboard against the legs of the desk.

she folded her arms, glancing up and seeing the four boys looking at her. she snatched her glance away and looked out the window, hoping they stopped. she gulped. she felt nervous.
