"what happened?" dustin questioned hopper as everyone trotted back inside to surround the table. hopper sat down and mike stood next to violet.

"i think he's talking, just not with words," hopper responded, sure he was correct. he drew dots and lines on the back of an envelope.

"what is that?" steve questioned.

"morse code," lucas, dustin, mike, and violet answered confidently.

"h-e-r-e," everyone said, staring at the envelope in realization.

"will's still in there. he's talking to us."

the same people that went in before, went to the shed. lucas, dustin and violet sat at the table with nancy while lucas called the letters from the walkie-talkie, nancy writing them out.

this continued until it spelt out, "closegate." everyone looked and read it out aloud.

then suddenly, the phone rang causing dustin to rush over and quickly hung it up up. it rang again, nancy ripping it off the wall, and tossing it against the floor, breaking it completely.

"do you think he heard that?" violet asked, a little scared.

"it's just a phone. it could be anywhere. right?" steve scoffed with a short laugh. suddenly, growling appeared outside.

"that's not good," dustin quietly said.

mike, lucas, dustin and violet scanned the outside through the window, mike and violet sharing a worried look.

"hey, hey! get away from the windows!" hopper yelled at the children, making them scatter away and back behind him, joyce and the teens.

"do you know how to use this?" hopper asked jonathan, lifting a gun.

"what?"

"can you use this?"

"i can," nancy cut in. hopper tossed her the gun, she caught it quickly and cocked it.

the growling seemed to grow closer. mike stood next to violet, and fear catching her, she took ahold of his hand with realizing who it was. before she could pull away, his hand tightened slightly in hers.

he turned his head towards her, his eyebrows furrowing. "your eyes, they're turning red," he whispered to her.

she gulped, keeping her eyes forward at the windows and not looking at him. "i haven't told you some things."

mike's face scrunched in realization. she closed her eyes, letting mike take her hand and pull up the sleeve. her wrist read 005.

"you're.. one too..?" he asked, she calmly nodded before her eyes shot open. they heard growling and looked forward.

"where are they?" violet wondered, looking at hopper.

they heard a thud, everyone jumping to the side and pointing their guns to the other side.

"what are they doing?" nancy asked.

there was shaking in the bushes, everyone turned back to facing the front. violet squeezed mike's sweaty hand tightly, she had to admit, hers was sweaty too.

then the screeching stopped.

suddenly, a monster was thrown through the window, hopper shooting it a couple of times. hopper kicked it a little, it was confirmed dead. the front door clicked, the lock slowly lifting and unlocking it completely. everyone had their guns at ready.

everyone watched as it seemed the world slowed down. the door opened slowly, and in came a girl, a familiar girl to all. her nose was bleeding and hopper lowered his gun. mike's hand fell from violet's, his eyes tearing up at the sight of her.
