A Legend Born From the Dust

The eyes of the trainers glistened as they readied for the end of the battle. Luca's Umbreon had taken a lot of damage so far and his opponents Electabuzz had hardly a scratch.

" Umbreon, hang in there. Lucas voice trembled "Use your perish song"

Luca knew that if he used this his Umbreon may not make it. He only had one Pokemon left when his opponent had three. His chance of winning was slim but he had no choice.

Umbreon opened its mouth and a horrible sound escaped. The electabuzz became shrouded in a red electrical charge.  Electabuzz grimaced and dropped to the floor. Umbreon closed its eyes and concentrated. Just like they practised.

Electabuzz fell down and the ref called " Electabuzz is unable to battle. Umbreon is the winner!"

Luca watched as Umbreon fell to the ground, overpowered by perish song's affect.

"No......... Umbreon please hold on....." Luca rushed to his pokemon.

Seeing its condition he pulled out its pokeball and for the first time in ages called his pokemon back........
