Amy stared at Luca, her mouth hanging open.
" How did you know?" She mumbled "No one has ever seen through my tactics before...Cyndaquil, flamethrower!"
"Horsea, Dodge!"
Cyndaquil sent a Blazing stream of fire twards the opponents pokemon and Horsea wasn't fast enough.
"No! Horsea! Hand in there!" Luca checked his pokemon before he went on. "Okay Cyndaquil, now is you time to shine! Aqua Jet!"
The tiny pokemon disapeared into a jet of water, too fast for Cyndaquil to dodge.
" No that wont work, Cyndaquile! Flamethrower!" Amy sounded strong but inside, she was gettin g desperate.
The little fire pokemon sent flames twards the water but they were imediatley extinguished. Horsea hit Cyndaquil head on, leaving it laying on the floor.
"Cyndaquil is unable to battle. Horsea wins!"
"Return and get a good rest." Amt turned twards Luca " As much as i hate losing, that was a great battle."
"Horsea, come back." Luca looked at the girl before him. "You did well Amy. I learned a lot from our battle."
" Next time, Jordan won't know what hit him."
Then she smiled. Not just any smile, but her smile. The one he loved.
