A Legend Born From the Dust

Zorua

Luca rejoined his friends in the clearing. 

"What the hell do you think you're doing? We were worried sick!" Amy yelled, her face flushed.

"Yeah Luca... What's that?" He pointed to the small bundle Luca was cradling in his arms. 

"It's a Zorua..." He said, hesitant. 

"WHAT??!!" Amy's mouth fell open. "You mean you found a legendary pokemon??!!"

"Amy stop shouting!" Luca struggled to raise his voice above Amy's." You'll wake it up"

The two others crowded around Luca. They stared, amazed as Luca unwrapped Zorua. It's beautiful black fur shone in the sunlight. It stirred suddenly, making the three of them jump.  Its small, red eyes opened and almost immediatly grew wide with fright. It struggled to get free and Luca in the end gave up, letting the miniature animal fall to the floor. 

Zorua turned to the group. "Where am I" it said 

"WOAH!" Amy exclaimed " it can talk?" 

"Telepathy Amy get it right " said Marcus sarcasticly .

"What have you done?" Zorua demanded, getting impatient. 

"Zorua, you were passed out in the middle of the clearing over there. Umbreon saw you and brought me to you. I was worried so I wrapped you up and brought you here. I thought my friend Amy could help you because she is a good healer." Luca said, voice calm. 

"  You had no right." The pokemon said pompously "Though I do thank you for your concern."

"Zorua." Amy said in a normal voice " how did you get here in the first place?" 

"I was trying to find Zoroark.He is my.... umm carer, you would say. We have always been together."

"And.....?"

"Team Rocket ..... they teamed up with the local thug gang ; Team plasma and the captured Zoroark..." Zorua sniffed then turned his furry head to the sky and wailed. Luca and his friends covered their ears.

 When the wailing died down, Luca picked up Zorua and  rocked it gently back and forth. "Don't worry we'll help you find Zoroark. In the meantime how about something to eat or drink?" Zorua shook it's head.

"Not now thank you I think I'll just go to sleep." With that it jumped out of Luca's arms and nestled itself against a sleeping Umbreon and in no time, their breathing was in sync.
