"We, uhh... Shouldn't mention this to Sam.. Or anyone..." Dean said quieter than before. He was sort of ashamed of his bisexuality, and would always keep his affairs with men a secret. Not that Cass was a one night stand. Or at least Dean didn't want him to be.
"Does it matter? It's not like this was anything more than a fling to you." Cass said the last sentence quieter than the first, but still audiable.
"Thats a little offensive... But yes, it does matter. You're not a random person Cass, I've known you for years. Its a little different... And... I don't like people, even Sam, to know about my affairs with other men.." Dean said as he avoided eye contact with Castiel and grabbed his clothes.
"I won't tell anyone." Cass said coldly. Why did he agree to this? Right now he'd rather be in a pool of his own blood than this. Castiel tried to clean Dean and the car up with hi grace, and thankfully, it worked.
"Thank you Cass..." Dean said after Castiel had said that, even though he knew by his time that he wasn't that enthused about it. He said thank you again after Castiel cleaned up the car with his grace. And after Dean got dressed, he got in the driver's seat.
Castiel got dressed as well, he even put his trench coat back on over his black wings.
Dean stayed quiet and sighed as he started to drive back to the motel after they were all cleaned up and such, "I'm sorry if I upset you Cass.." He mentioned.
"It doesn't matter. I am sorry I made you uncomfortable." Cass said looking out the window.
"You... You didn't make me uncomfortable... Why would you think that?" He asked him, glancing over at him for a second before looking back at the road.
"We're friends. It must have been awkward for you to have sexual intercourse with a friend." Cass said, looking at Dean.
"True... I see where you're coming from... But if I was uncomfortable at any time I would've told you to stop Cass." Dean said.
Cass frowned and looked out of the window again. So he does think of me as friend. Oh well. It's not like he expected anything else from a guy who sleeps around constantly.
Dean sighed and didn't say anything more after that when he continued to drive. It didn't take long to return back, and Dean walked into the motel with Castiel after.
When Castiel stepped inside he immediately headed to the bathroom. He wanted to wash the heartbreak away.
Dean didn't say anything since it was too late to, Cass was already in the bathroom. Sam was sitting at the table and noticed they were back, "Hey. Find anything?" He asked. "You guys were gone for a while."
Cass got in the shower and washed his vessel, then his wings. He took his time carfully washing them, and especially the delicate feathers.
"Umm... No. We didn't find anything that was important..." Dean said as he sat down as well.
"What was up with Cass?" Sam asked, indicating about the way he went to the bathroom immediately.
"Oh... I don't know..." Dean said quietly. Sam knew he was lying, but kept quiet for a moment.
Cass stepped out of the shower and looked in the mirror. 'Why doesn't he like me? Is it because I am in a male vessel? If I were in a female one would he care if Sam knew? Is he ashamed of me?' Cass's thoughts raced.
"Something happen? He didn't look too happy..." Sam pressed on as he glanced back at the bathroom door.
"No... Nothing happened. He's just... Not in a good mood." Dean said.
