Second Chapter. Enjoy! -----------------------(๑• . •๑)------------------- " I uhm... Sorry. Do I know you?"
"No. Let me introduce myself. Hey. I am Taehyung, your assigned cupid. Nice to meet you, Park Jimin."
"Wait. What?"
We stood in silence for a minute or two before he gave an awkward smile and gestured me to let him in. I know that we talked about cupids on the last chapter but I never imagine that I would have one standing in front of me. Now, we were sitting in front of each other in the living room. Neither of us dared to say a word and it was getting a little frustrating.
"Is this a joke? Because if it is, it is not funny."
"No, it is not a joke. Haven't you already heard about our existence?"
"Yeah, I have. But I figured that you were not real after the tenth time I was rejected."
"Wait. You were rejected more than ten times?!"
"You are my cupid you should know."
"Don't worry. I am exactly what you need."
I sincerely tried not to rolled my eyes as he flashed me his box like smile. Well this was what I was asking for. I just hope he is good at his job.
"Ok, so where do we start?"
"First, we need to establish your end of the deal."
"My end of the deal?"
"Did you really expect me to do this for free?" I was quite embarrassed to nod. "No sir. I need something in exchange. But don't worry, it will be simple."
"What is it?"
"Let me be human for a couple of days."
"What do you mean?"
"Don't you realize how tiring it is to make people happy all the time?" I actually know how it feels. All my life has been design to please my mothers wishes. So times I don't even know who I am really.
"I know."
"Well, can you please let me act human just this weekend? I promised that on Monday we will focus on finding your soulmate. Please?"
"Ok, but don't make me regret it."
"Promise"
We sat awkwardly for quite sometime before he spoke again. "So, what now?"
"Why don't we have a movie night?"
"Are you sure your roommate won't mind me staying?"
"I don't have a roommate."
After that we had our little movie night which was uneventful. So, the author is too lazy to write it at 2 am. (Thanks for exposing me, Jimin. (っ╥╯﹏╰╥c) ) Next morning and noon was mostly the same except for Taehyung announcing that he wanted to go clubbing at night. So that is how I found myself getting ready at 8 pm. I tried to put some effort since I haven't gone out in quite sometime.
