(Nikki and Wren pt.2)

*1 month before school starts, 3 weeks after defeating it*

"Bee, get down from there! I'm serious!" Eddie shouts, looking up into the leaves of a very tall tree. "You could get hurt!"

A few minutes back, while waiting for the other losers at the park, Eddie had made the mistake of saying that hostess cupcakes were better than twinkies. Wren throw a fit, to say the least. So she climbed a tree— cause she knew Eddie wouldn't follow her.

"No way!" She shouts back down, crossing her arms over her chest.

"I'll call the cops!" Eddie insists.

"Go ahead, I'll fight them!"

Stan rides up on his bike, catching onto the end of their conversation. With snacks in hand, he gives Eddie a curious look. Parking his bike, he quickly walks over to the frustrated asthmatic boy.

"Bee?" Stan calls.

Eddie turns to him and let's out a sigh of relief.

"Thank god you're here," Eddie turns to him, "she won't come down. She's mad I said cupcakes are better than twinkies.."

"Well, that's stupid. Twinkies are way better," Stan shakes his head while Eddie rolls his eyes.

"Whatever, I don't even like either of them," Eddie admits. "Just make her get down, she likes you better than me most of the time."

Stan laughs, acknowledging Eddie's grumpy look. 

"Bee! Come down here, I brought snacks!" He shouts.

In less than a minute, Wren is climbing down and taking Stan's snacks.

"I totally would've fought them," she says, referring to the cops Eddie threatened to call.

Stan smiles, "I know you would've."

"Sometimes I feel like you should be dating, Stan," Richie snorts, riding up on his bike. "He'd probably do a lot better than Eds. I mean, I heard Jews are pretty kinky—"

"Beep beep," Wren laughs, leaning over and giving a pouting Eddie a kiss on the cheek.

"Yeah, beep beep," Eddie repeats, smiling when wren's lips touch his cheek.
