      Optimus woke up with the sleeping bumblebee on his chassis he was gently cooing *Idk if I spelt that right lol* in his sleep and that sound made the team leader smile Optimus slowly are carefully got off the berth not to wake the sleeping sparkling but to his (kinda) disappointment the sparkling opened its optics Optimus was expecting a scream or cry but nothing came except cooing from the baby then he heard a tiny rumble emit from the sparkling as bee put on a weird face "Your hungry bumblebee? Let's get you some energon" Optimus said and walked to the rec room with bee and laid him down on a soft pillow they had found and started filling up a bottle and mug for energon bee turned his helm and picked up his foot and put it in his mouth he was watching his father and was trying to get his attention as to say he was hungry he tried out his vocals or at least attempted to *idk the ages they say instead of like years they say other things I think so idk them I'm just gonna say years ok?* "bah......ooooo.....d......a?" Bee tried to say Optimus stopped what he was doing and stared at the sparkling optics wide in shock "bee?" He said bumblebee reached his tiny servos out to his dad "D.....a?" "D..." "a....." "Da?" "Dada Dada" bumblebee finally spit out clapping at his success while Optimus stood there in shock bumblebee in human years was only 9 months old *as Ratchet said* and babies where usually 12-18 months old when they usually started talking Optimus must have zoned out cause now baby bee was getting fussy wanting his bottle Optimus shook himself out of the shock and picked up the sparkling and fed him the sparkling hungrily sucked down the energon and Optimus burped him when he was done  usually he would be tired but he wasn't the sparkling was full of energy the sparkling looked around and spotted a tiny basket full of colorful toys "Dada?" Bee said as he reached a tiny servo to the toys Optimus saw this and gently laid the sparkling inside a 'playpin' is what the humans call it he gently leaned bumblebee against a pillow since the Sparkling couldn't sit up on his own quite yet he has been showing signs but could never hold it Optimus watched as bumblebee started playing with a yellow rubber ball with black stripes on it he was chewing on it and drooling except when he tried to put it in his mouth he ball bounced off his face and rolled across to the other side of the playpin bumblebee gave the ball a death glare and tried to get it but he couldn't Bumblebee got frustrated and got on his servos and Knees and stared to crawl swiftly to the ball to the complete shock of Optimus once the sparkling reaches it he grabbed it up and sat up and started to chew on it Optimus was thrilled it was his first time he ever crawled and sat up on his own he gently picked the sparkling up "Your a speedy one aren't you?" He smiled bee giggled and started babbling Optimus's smile got bigger this sparkling was the best thing that has ever happened to him.
