Chapter 8

I woke up to a faint light trickling through the curtain and the faint breathing of the others in the room. I turned my head to face the alarm clock beside the small bed on which I laid "7:47, it's too early." I grumbled to myself before turning to my other side and snuggling into something warm that laid beside me, then yesterday's memories came flooding back to me. I jumped and fell on the floor in my attempt to get away from Sebastian whom had, moments ago, laid next to me with a smirk on his face.

"What seems to be the matter Miss. [Y/n]?' Sebastian said, a smug look covering his features. "Shut your trap." I said. I got up from the spot on the floor before climbing back under the covers ''It should be illegal to be awake this early." I groaned into the pillow. "I'm sorry kitten, but I'm afraid it's time to wake up." Sebastian said, pulling the sheets off of me. "Fine, I'll go get some clothes and breakfast." I grumbled. "Allow me to accompany you kitten." Sebastian said, pulling on his shoes and jacket. "Whatever you please." I said, gabbing my keys and the hotel room key card.

Once I got in the driver's seat and got buckled I put the car into ignition and waited for Sebastian to do the same before pulling out of the parking lot. "Clothes first then food, that sound like a plan?" I said, earning an approving nod from Sebastian. "Great." I said pulling into a parking spot of a near by clothing store. After a while of walking through the isles of the store in search of the right clothes for everyone we had finally managed to get outfits for the day without killing my wallet, thankfully.

After we purchased items we quickly returned to the car. "What sounds good for breakfast?" I asked Sebastian "Though I don't think we have many things in out time that you would enjoy." I added. "Down your time have any quality food." Sebastian asked. I then mulled over the options of enjoyable restaurants before a wonderful example came to mind. "Cracker Barrel!" I yelled pointing into space. "Let's go pick up the others and they can get cleaned up then we can go get the sustenance vital for life." I said as I quickly drove back to the hotel, lodge thing.

I pulled into a parking spot before quickly pulling the key out of the car and hopping out of the car and running back to the hotel room, grocery bags and my duffel bag in my hands and Sebastian following closely behind. I swiped the key card before slamming the door open, causing Ciel and Grell to wake up with a start. "Mornin' beautiful people!" I yelled walking over the the dresser that sat between Grell and Ciel before setting down the clothes "Perhaps it would be best to keep your voice down lady [Y/n]." Sebastian said as he closed the door. "Yeah yeah, whatever." I said waving the demon off. I dug through the bag for Ciel's clothes for a second before pulling out a blue and white plaid t-shirt with a black undershirt as well as a pair of blue jeans. "Shower quickly." I said pushing him and Ciel and Sebastian into the bathroom. I then walked back over to the dresser and pulled out a red t-shirt that said 'notice me senpai' in white lettering on the front and another pair of cheap blue jeans "I saw this shirt and though of you." I said handing the redheaded reaper the clothes. "Thank you for your kindness Miss. [Y/n]." Grell thanked me. "Yeah no problem. But hey, I've been meaning to ask you what's wrong, you don't talk a lot anymore and you don't fangirl over Sebastian as much.'' I said, bringing the reaper's strange behavior to light. "Oh....I guess it's just strange being here....And might I ask why you are showing me kindness? After all I am the one who killed Madam Red." Grell said, voice sounding a bit happier as he said the last part. "Because if I threw you out I would feel guilty...I mean the whole Madam Red thing was bound to happen one way or another because it was in the anime, I just tried to stop it because I felt Madam Red's death was unjustified." I said. "What's 'anime'?" Grell asked me. "Oh yeah! You don't know what that is yet! Well you see in this dimension you guys aren't real...just fiction and your from a thing called anime...it's basically a 'Japanese cartoon' as some people would call it." I explained as I jumped of my bed and pulled out my phone before I began playing a song called Realistic Logical Ideologist as I sung along with the Japanese lyrics.
