When I awoke, I struggled to sit up to take in my surroundings. Blinking and holding up my hand to help against the harsh sunlight, I notice that my arm is... like a block. Spreading my arms in front of me, I see the same thing. I run my blocky fingers through my hair, which feels normal, until I bring it in front of my face. It's also pixelated, but pitch-black, with bright purple tips. I brush it behind my ear, feeling something bump against my hand. Grabbing it, I see that it's my headset, also pixelated. The grunting of a pig startled me. I glanced over at the animal, seeing that it was as pixelated as I was. My throat got tight as realization dawned in me. "Hey!" I glance around, standing up. "Hey! Look, I'm over here!" I turned towards a nearby pond that I hadn't noticed earlier. A familiar avatar was waving at me, her tentacles allowing her to swim through the water like a squid. "So it happened to you, too?" DERPvanessa, the Derptarded Squid of Derpyness- I mean, my friend, called to me. "Uhh... Yeah. I guess." Taking in my surroundings, I find that I'm in a Plains biome. I hate the Plains...
Squid got out of the water, standing up to her full height. She was humanoid, with squidy-tentacles coming out of her back and-a bucket-really? A fucking bucket? Stupid squids...- atop her bluish hair. Her eyes were also a shade of blue, and she had the derpy-est smile on her face as she approached me. "Well, isn't this fun? We got sucked into Minecraft together!" Her smile faltered. "Did you get taller, or have you always been tall?" I shrugged. I was an okay height(at least, before the game decided to kidnap me) about 5' 4.5". If the game had made me taller, I don't know. "You're like six feet tall!" "Or maybe you got short. Who cares, we need to find some shelter. C'mon, Squid." She shook her head. "We'll be safe as long as we go underwater! Follow me!" She dragged me to the water, beginning to drag me down. "Wait! What about my headset?" I asked gripping said object with my left hand(Squid was pulling my right). She waved it off. "It'll be fine! Trust me." I thought for a minute. "I'm not a Squid, though. I can't-ARRRGGGGHHH!" The water burned my skin, making me yank my arm away from Squid, finding myself five blocks away from the pond. Squid's eyes were wide. "How did you do that?" She asked, amazed. "Do what?" I asker her, still in pain from the water. I stopped. Wait... Oh, fuck...
"I think I'm an Ender." I said. "Ooooohhhhhhh.... that explains why your eyes kinda glow." I blinked. "They WHAT?" Checking my reflection in the pond, I notice that my eyes definitely cast a slight light reflection off of it's mirrored surface. "Damn... That's cool..." I murmured. checking where the water had touched my skin, I saw the flesh shriveling up and peeling off. I flinched slightly. "Nyyeehh... It burns." There was silence for a few minutes before either of us spoke again. "So, what do we do now?" Squid asked. I thought for a moment. "Well, because this is Minecraft, we just need to do the same things we did when we were still outside the game." "...Which is...?" I grinned. "We craft it up!"
Crafting with a Squid for a partner is not the best thing I've come up with. "Can we fill it up with water? Like a giant tank?" I was ready to snap. Two hours of listening to this fucking... SQUID asking to add WATER into a house that will have an ENDER in it because the game wasn't COURTEOUS ENOUGH to give me FUCKING ENDERDRAGON genetic-spawn-coding-whatever. "Please?" I snapped. "MOTHERFUCKING HELL, I'VE TOLD YOU A MILLION TIMES-" before I could finish,(I kid you not) a white cat fell from the sky, landing in front of us. "Oh, look, it's raining cats. Where are the dogs gonna come from? The Nether or something?" I rolled my eyes. The white cat stood up, allowing me to recognize yet another friend. "PIXUS!" She yelled. "Nice to see you too, Lexy..." She gave me that crazy grin of hers. "I heard you guys talkin' about makin' a sheltah." She whispered in a creeper-ish voice(NO MINECRAFT PUN INTENDED!) to us. "Umm... yeah." I nodded. "Well, you guys could stay with me!" she said brightly. I looked at Squid. She nodded and smiled, so we followed the anthro Ocelot to a small clearing, where a patch of sunlight shone down on a small... Something or other. It was too bright for us to look at it directly, so we couldn't tell what it was. "C'mon!" Lexy pushed us into the light, and everything turned gold, then faded into a beautiful sight.
"Holy shit..." I muttered. "Is this... Paradise?" The place we had been transported into was amazing. A tall, majestic mountain range in the distance, with peaceful, yet strange, mobs scattered across the lush emerald landscape, even some mobs up in the air, adding only to the natural feeling of being in Heaven. "Welcome to the Aether!" Lexi announced.
A/N: I got the "PIXUS!" thing from the real Lexy. She said that for a week during the school year, and ever since, I've always associated the word with her random shouting. She will be shouting "PIXUS!" throughout the story at random times, because I think it's kinda funny. I also put the Aether in here because I think that if there is a Hell, there should be a Heaven. That makes four Minecraft realms; the Overworld, the End, the Nether, and the Aether. Also because the storyline kinda depends on it.
