I woke up the next morning with an ache in my back. As I felt around for my glasses and put them on I noticed that I was on the floor surrounded by boxes and bubble rap. I looked towards my bed and noticed Tate snuggled into the bare mattress with one of my blankets tucked over him. As I stood up and walked towards him I grabbed one of my slippers from the mess on the floor and swiftly hit him on the arm causing his eyes to shoot open and him to bolt upright.

"Eden what the hell?!" he groaned.

"You let me sleep on the floor you dingbat!"

"That's what you get for falling asleep while unpacking. Not my fault. Plus I didn't want to lug your heavy ass up onto the mattress." he smirked teasingly and I took a seat next to him.

"Whatever," I grumbled and he looked at his phone.

"Well, good thing were up. We're meeting everyone for breakfast in 4o min. Be ready in 30." With that he disappeared out the door, I assume to go home and change since he lived across the street.

I rolled out of bed and hopped into the shower. I had washed my hair the morning before so I quickly washed my body and hopped out. I had to rummage through some boxes to find my clothes and finally found my 'The Who' t-shirt and high wasted Levi jean shorts that I figured would do. Slipping them on along with my favorite rainbow beaded choker. Taking one last look in the mirror and pulling my hair into a ponytail I grabbed my phone and tan timberlands and headed downstairs.

My mom was in the kitchen and I could hear her humming. "Morning Momma," I smiled kissing her cheek.

"Good morning mon amour." She leaned across from me on the kitchen island before continuing. "What are you doing today?"

"Tate's taking me to meet his friends." I replied picking at my nails.

"That will be good, will Francesca be there?" Francesca was my other best friend from when I lived here but while we weren't as close as Tate and I we'd still kept in touch and I was beyond excited to see her.

"I hope so, but I do- " I was cut off by a knock at the door. "That's Tate. See you later Maman."

I ran for the front door and opened it to reveal a now showered and changed Tate. "You ready Ned?" he asked and I nodded grabbing my bag and following him down the steps but stopping at the bottom. He looked back at me when I didn't head for his car and gave me a confused look that soon morphed into a look of recognition.

"No, I don't know what your Idea is but no. Now come on lets go." he said sternly as he opened the passenger door of his bronco.

"Wait Tate just hear me out..... Or better yet. See for yourself." A smirk made its way onto my face as I ran to the garage and entered the code to open it.

It was still filled with boxes but in the middle I saw what I was looking for. Tate followed me in and I made my way to the middle pulling a sheet of the hidden object, "Not happening Ned." Tate said immediately, as we both stood staring at the beautiful Triumph motorcycle in front of us.

"Come on Tate don't be such a baby. I got it from my uncle while we were living in France and I'm a pro, I even have a licence." I smiled as I got my leather jacket out of one of the boxes and handed him a helmet as I put on one for myself.

I straddled the seat looking up at him smiling and patting the seat behind me as he sighed putting on the helmet and sitting behind me, "If I die I'm coming back to haunt you," I Laughed and turned the key as the engine roared to life making my smile grow. I drove out of the garage and onto the road where I sped up. Tate's grip on my waist tightened as I got faster speeding into town.
