He's been in love with El for over a year now but He doesn't think she knows what love really is. As he brushes out his tangled up curls with His comb, he hears the static of his wallow talkie "m-mike?" He remains still as he listens for any other words "mike are you there" he recognizes that voice as he runs to his room and says "El is that you? Over." "Yes," she says silently, "Can you come over?"  "A-actually," says mike awkwardly. "I was wondering if you wanted to go to the Hawkins County Fair, tonight with the guys at 5:00, if it's ok with hopper, I mean you don't have to if you don't want-he asked. "Ill be there at 4-3-0."El says without hesitation. "Ok see you later El." "Over and out Mike".
Mike has thoughts zooming around his head about what he should wear, should he shower, or spray cologne. But he decides to run to his parents room and rummage through his dads closet until he finds the perfect outfit: a flannel and skinny jeans. Then he sprays on so much cologne that it smells up the whole house and he almost passes out. Then he hears a knock at the door about 30 minutes later. El is standing there with hopper and mike greets them then takes el by the hand, says his goodbyes to hopper , then runs to the basement. El hugs him tightly and whispers "I missed you." "I missed you more." Mike replies as she let's go a few seconds later. They stare into each other's eyes for about 2 minutes when mike finally asked el "Do you want to do anything before we go like eat, use the bathroom, or anything?" Mike asks. El's face turns red. "What, is it something I said" wheeler asks. "I don't know how" el whispers. "Don't know how to what" mike replies. "use.. the..bathroom," "papa gave me diapers." El says as her face turns an even brighter red. "Oh.... oh god... well... do you need help ?" Mike says awkwardly. "Umm.....yes" says el shakily. They walk over to the basement bathroom then mike lifts El onto the toilet seat. "W-well you just pull your pants down then it kinda goes from there...but..uhh...I won't look."says mike. As el uses the bathroom, blood goes down into the toilet instead of urine. "Blood is normal right?" El says as mike stares at the blood pool in the toilet and his jaw drops. "O-omygod" mike says "

hold on." Mike runs up to get his sister . He returns with his Nancy and Nancy is holding a bunch of pads in her hand. "I-i think it's because of her powers" mike says. "Oh my god stupid, it's called a period and it happens to every girl,"Nancy exclaims. " now run back upstairs!"
