"Attention!" a deep voice growled over the speakers.

I groaned and shook off my earbuds. What was my annoying boss going to lecture us about today?

"The deadline is in two weeks!" The voice continued. "I expect hard work and dedication!"

My coworker Jung rolled her eyes. "As if I haven't worked my ass off for the past few weeks."

I snorted. "Have you seen me?!"

Jung chuckled and looked me in the eye. "Just know, Y/N, don't mess with boss."

"I haven't even seen his face yet." I chortled. "And I've been here for at least a year already."

Jung just snorted.

As usual, I had the amazing job of (note sarcasm) bringing files to Mei, the boss's girlfriend, everyday. Just saying, she's a insolent bitch. Always making me trip and fall with her annoying ass high heels.

Today, she wasn't here. Just great.

I checked the other hallway to see if she was there, but nope. That pig...where was she?!

An idea suddenly popped up in my brain. Maybe I could bring it to the boss by myself, I thought. This is a perfect chance to see his face.

I tiptoed as quietly as I could to his office, and knocked on the door gently. "Mr.Boss sir-?" I began.

"WHO IS IT?!" A menacing voice yelled out.

I trembled. "U-uhm..it's Y/N, sir. Y/N."

The voice softened. "Well, come in, Y/N!" I don't have all day."

I gulped and slowly entered. The office was vast and smelled like fresh mint. There was a rectangular shaped desk in the center, and there was a handsome man seated on a black chair there.

I looked around weirdly. "Where's the boss?" I asked the man. 

 "I am the boss." He growled.

My eyes widened. How could a man this sexy and handsome be the threatening voice that yelled at you every day?!

"Oh..sorry sir!" I quickly say, bowing my head.

Jungkook waved his hand dismissively. "Drop the files and leave, Ms. Y/N. I don't need your forgiveness."

I looked at him in shock, but I gave him the papers anyways. "Rude ass." I mutter.

His eyes flickered and looked at me. "What did you say?" he said dangerously.

"Nothing." I say, and quickly exit through the doors.

All of a sudden, I feel my feet slipping and my chest caving in.

My mind only uttered one word: Mei.
