Peaking in my sisters door I saw her crying hysterically at the foot of her bed. She was a very emotional person, so this was nothing new. I could tell she had been crying for a little while because of how puffy and red her face had become. She wasn't saying anything, just crying into her palms and shooting snot into her sleeves. After waiting a little bit I knocked on the door gently, I didn't want her to know I'd been there watched for a few minutes.

"Go away, it's nothing, it's just this boy."
As much as she worried about boys, I didn't believe her this time because half of her room was covered in soil and leaves. After I actually got into the room I saw that there was a decent sized tree along with the mess.
"I knew you liked plants, but never this much." I chuckled as I picked up a leaf and examined it. My sister had always had a thing for plants and whatnot. She has a  garden outside along with numerous plants in her room.
"It's not funny! Do you not get it?" She said hatefully as she got up to close the door. At this point I was just very confused and didn't know how to react so I just asked "you didn't do this?"

She looked at the mess for a minute and then replied, "I did, but I didn't want this to happen." That's really weird. I didn't want to make her upset anymore, so I just decided to ask questions that may be easier to anwser. "How did this happen?" She pointed at her shelf where she usually keeps her indoor plants in frustration. "Over there, my shelf, Well I was just over there watering my plants and one was dying, I picked it up, touched its leaves and then all of this just, happened." She pointed again, but at the tree this time.

"Bella, that makes no sense. Are you feeling okay?" I sat next to her, but she quickly got up and stood over me. "Do you not get it?" She said a little too loudly. "It's that time!" She said as she started crying again. "What are you talking about."I asked as I was starting to get frustrated and annoyed. "Has nothing happened to you lately, weird things?" And now that she mentioned it, something odd did happen to me a few days ago. I had made a coffee and when I went to take a sip it was too hot and burnt my lips. I decided to wait on it to cool down and when I came back it was nearly a block of ice. I didn't think too much of it because I was half asleep and thought I was just pranked.

I told her all of this and then she sat down next to me. "I heard Mom talking about this with Dad, but I thought they were just talking about some book or tv show. They said that when they get their powers they go off to some camp thing. I'm scared, I don't want to tell Mom."
Of course I was nervous too, but I knew that telling Mom would be the right thing to do. My sister collected herself and we headed downstairs.
