Once we got downstairs Bella froze up. "Come on Bella, she'll find out sooner or later." She started tearing up again but continued walking.  We went into the living room where my mom was reading a book.

"You're both coming to me about something? Well that's not good. What did you do?" She sat down her book and we both took a seat across from her. Since Bella was in no state to talk about it, I decided to bring it up and by bring it up I mean tell her everything.
"Mom, weird stuff is going on and Bella made a tree appear or something and I froze coffee, please explain what's going on."
Our mom smiled and giggled under her breath.
"I knew it was about time for that. Your father and I have been talking about it lately, hoping you guys would pick up on it. I didn't think you'd both get them in the same week, but that's nothing I can control. So, a tree and frozen coffee?" She looked at us both and we both nodded. "Bella I always knew you'd be the one for nature, with your obsession with plants and flowers, but Liz the ice thing is a bit surprising." She didn't go into much detail there, but kept going.
"Bella, I was nature, earth and I was hoping one of you would get it. Your father was fire, so Liz it's strange that you got ice, but there's nothing wrong with it." My mother breaks eye contact with me after saying that, which worries me that maybe something is wrong with it.

Bella finally spoke asking about the camp that she's overheard them talking about. After she asked, my moms smile, turned into nothing. Not really a sad face, but a normal/neutral face.
"It's an underground bunker. It's for kids who have special abilities like you two. They hide and train in the bunker because they don't want other people to find them to try and do things. Usually they don't want you to come as soon as you get your powers, but they gave me a call a week or so ago telling me that when you two found your powers, you needed to come as soon as you could."

There were the tears again. Bella burst out crying and asked if Mom could just not tell them. Mom told her that if she went on and didn't tell them, she could get in a lot of trouble. Why would she get in trouble? What kind of camp was this? She told us to clean up and she'll cook us some lunch. I head up to my room to pack my things.
