Ethan grunted in pain as he knelt down, trying to reach into the far left shelf of our tv cabinet, which lucky for me, was in front of where I was sitting on the couch. I flashed my signature wicked grin and lightly kicked him in the ass, making him fall forwards and only just being able to catch himself. I started laughing, even though I was old, I still had good humour, but it only ended in me coughing and clutching my chest.

"Serves you right!" Ethan groaned over his shoulder as he finally retrieved the photo album he was looking for.

"You're lucky i'm not young anymore" I fire back with a wide smile on my face.

"Neither am I, now shush" Ethan hushes me as he opened the photo album while sitting right beside me on the couch.

The first photo was a picture of us when we were dating, we were only 18. We were holding hands and sitting on the front steps of my parents house, happiness radiating off our faces. We were extremely naive, but fell in love early, it was easy enough with Ethan's charming smile and personality.

There were so many fond memories merely shown on pieces of paper placed inside a book. We flicked through many pages before landing on the photos of our wedding. Ethan reached for my free hand to squeeze it. He looked at me with a look of admiration, and although his face had changed, his captivating eyes still showed the way he looked at me on our wedding day. Nothing has changed I grinned to myself.

I remembered walking down the aisle and my knees nearly buckled when Ethan looked at me. He looked at me like I was the most beautiful person he'd ever laid eyes on, and he even said it in his vows. I remember every word he said, every tear that softly fell out of his eyes and every touch he gave me during the ceremony.

Ethan grazed his hand over our wedding photos as if he could feel them. He interlaced our fingers the exact same way he's done ever since he asked me to be his girlfriend, now I was his wife, mother of our children and grandmother of our grandchildren.

After our wedding photos, were photos of us travelling the world. We went north, south, east and west, anywhere we thought of going, we went. But our trip ended early because I got pregnant with our first of three children.

Now it was just us two in our house, since all our children moved out. Ethan closed the album on a photo of us with all of our children and grandchildren.

He placed it next to him and turned so he was fully facing me. He gently grabbed the side of my cheek and placed a tender kiss on my lips.

I smiled and leaned down to rest my head on his chest, as if we were teenagers again.

I feel like this is way too short but it's super cute to me.

I love you all and stay cranky :)
