At Last [Lip Gallagher]

Chapter 15:

Kev walked back in and I looked up. 

"Hey." Fiona said, lifting the goggles up. "Thought I scared you off." 

"No. I mean, yeah, you're scary, but I brought help." Kev said.

I turned to look at the door as it opened. People from the Alibi walked in and I helped Fiona to her feet. We walked towards the people coming in.

"You came to help?" Fiona asked looking at the crowd.

"Looks like you could use it." Frank said.

"Christ, what a shit show." Tommy said as he looked around then turned to look at the crowd. "All right, listen up. I need three guys on the ceiling, three people on the floor, everybody else is clean-up okay? Fiona, got any masks?" 

"No." Fiona said.

"Any other tools?" Tommy asked.

Fiona held up what she was using. 

"I got tools in my truck, it's parked around the corner. I'll go grab 'em. Everybody, shovel all this broken tile out, get it the hell outta here." Tommy ordered. "I'll be back."

Everyone started getting to work and Frank walked up to Fiona and I.

"Did you really buy this place?" Frank asked.

"Yeah." Fiona said.

"Smart. Good investment." Frank said.

Fiona and I looked at each other confused. I looked around to see everybody doing something.

"Hey." Fiona said.

I turned to see Ian walking in with Liam and Trevor.

"Kev texted me. Why didn't you say you were in trouble?" Ian asked.

"I don't know. Thanks for coming." Fiona said.

"We think it's pretty badass you actually bought this place." Trevor said.

"You do?" Fiona asked.

"Yeah." Trevor said.

Fiona went over and hugged Kev. 

"You got night shift at Patsy's okay?" Fiona said, turning to me.

I nodded. Once night came, I headed over to Patsy's. 

"Hey Sierra." I greeted as I walked in.

She looked at me and she had a concerned look.

"Is everything okay?" I asked.

"Lip." She said looking over her shoulder. 

I followed to see Lip leaning over the kitchen sink.

"Hey. Hey. I brought money." Some guy said, walking up to Sierra.

I turned to watch as Sierra sighed and moved away from the table.

"Now can I see him?" The man asked. 

Sierra scoffed. "He's not here." 

"I need to see him. I need to explain to him what happened or he's gonna hate me forever, Sierra." The man said.

I turned to check on Lip to see him now paying attention.

"Shit." I muttered.

I quickly hurried into the kitchen and Lip turned to me. He quickly turned back to Sierra and the guy.

"No!" Sierra said.

"Sierra, you can't keep me from my kid." The man said.

Lip started heading out to the restaurant floor but I grabbed his arm, stopping him. He turned to look at me.
