Katie Henderson along with working on the set of Stranger Things worked at Patsy's Diner where she got to sing all the time. No one besides Marissa and Charlie knew that she worked here.
"I doubt that if you told them you work here it would be a big deal."
"Yeah, you not telling them is just worse. I mean what if they come to the restaurant one day and you're working. What're ya gonna do then hun?"
"Go hide in the corner."
"You know you can't do that."
Katie began to huff and cross her arms, 'it's not that I don't want them to know I work here' she thought to herself 'but the fact that they would be here all the time if they knew'
"I don't see what the big deal is katie, you're not a bad singer and you're an amazing dancer."
Charlie had began to grow impatient with the small girl, there was nothing wrong with her performing and then it hit him.
"I know why you don't want to perform, you don't want to embarrass yourself in front of joe...
or the rest of the cast."
Marissa rolled her eyes at this comment "I don't know why it's such a big deal I mean you've been friends with most of those people for over 2 years."
Marissa herself was very confused as to why Katie wouldn't tell her co workers why she couldn't come out to places because she was working instead of some lame excuse like 'I need to find an animal shelter that lets me adopt pigs' when everyone knows her landlord won't let her have more than one pet and it had to be domesticated and well pigs aren't domesticated katie.
"I just don't want to look like a fool, I mean I get paid a lot for stranger things it's not like I need the extra cash I just love working here ya know?"
Katie had worked here when the place had just opened she had been 18 then and now being 23 she couldn't see the point in quitting. She was one of the customers favorite waitresses. She was loved by everyone who met her, including her co workers on set and at the diner.
"I don't know I think I'm just gonna keep this to myself I doubt they'll ever come here. They don't seem big on restaurants like this."
As for now katie had nothing to worry about but as for later on well some little birdies may have spilt to Natalia and Charlie that katie had worked at a restaurant in town.
