The clock had just moved to 3:15 on the dot,
Katie had heard a group of people come in but she didn't think anything if it due to her having to wait tables.

If she hadn't been so focused on remembering the orders she would've heard the group specifically ask for her to be their waitress.

The body mic clung to her cheek was not on but could be just by the flip of some switch behind the counter.

"Hey Katie, one of your usuals wanted to request a song."
"Okay cool! Just let me get these drinks for table 20 and I'll get on it. What song was it?"
"You Make Loving Fun."

Katie loved preforming on throwback Thursday because she got to sing some of her favorite songs.

Katie began to put things down when she had heard the song start and with a big smile on her face she sang the song with the help of the other workers.

She got on an empty table and did her best Stevie Nicks impression which everyone enjoyed it wasn't until the song was over that she saw some familiar faces staring at her.

Once the song ended the owner pasty told her that she had been specially requested at table 15.

"Hi welcome to Patsy's Diner! I'm Katie I'll be your waitress today. Can I start you off with anything?"
"Yes, your number."
A smack followed the compliment,
"You already have her number Gaten."
"Shut up Joe."

Katie took their drink orders and got on to busying herself.
Some of the other waitresses had asked how they found out she worked there and she had a sneaking suspicion that she knew but she shrugged her shoulders anyway.

She walked past her friends table to go wait on another when she saw on of her co-workers flirting with joe.

"You're in a band right?"
"Yup."
"Oh that's cool me too, maybe I can get your number and I could come hear you guys play or we could do something."
Gaten and Caleb took this pause to intervene in the conversation.

"Sorry miss uh... Lindsay but he has a girlfriend."
"Oh well she must not be super supportive if she's not here with you guys."
"Actually she's working here she's actually right over there."

Caleb had pointed katie out while she was talking to one of the regulars who came and absolutely loved when she worked.

Katie had been mid sentence when Lindsay came up to her and asked if she had a boyfriend.
Katie was confused at first but then realized what was happening when the entire table was nodding behind Lindsay pointing to joe including joe.

"Yeah joe and I have been together for what almost a year and a half babe?"
"Yup speaking of did we ever decide where we are going for our anniversary?"

By this point Lindsay had stormed off to the other waitresses, joe began to pull Katie into his lap.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you?"
Joe kissed the top of Katie's head and she smiled up at him.
"Not recently but you sure can take me to a post animal concert and that'll show me. I wanna meet Javi."
Joe began to smile really big
"That's my girl."

What neither of them knew was that both of them did love each other and everyone on the cast knew it and all of them had secretly been taking pictures the entire time.

"Katie honey I hate to interrupt I know how much this joe boy means to you but we need you to sing again if that's not too much."
"No of course not Mrs.Patsy."
"Good get to singing girl."
