The Alpha Gathering

Preface

Hello, my dear lovely readers.

Let's meet again at the start of this new and my first werewolf story. Before we begin, I have to explain a few things.

Firstly, in this story, only the males are werewolves, as they are the dominating sex. This story takes place around 150 years ago, so as much as I love strong and independent female protagonists, this is still the way things have been these days.

Secondly, as the packs are so big there's not only one Alpha and one Beta. There is one Alpha of the pack but several Betas, each responsible for an assigned region.

And lastly, there's nothing such as destined mates by fate in this story. Everybody gets to choose their own mate and has a chance to decide personally.

Please don't copy my plot, characters and so on. I'm sure your imagination is broad and unique enough to create your own. :)

I don't own the pictures, gifs or memes, used in the chapters or on the cover.

I shall update this story once a week, probably on Sundays.

SYNOPSIS:

The last few years have been very hard, so will the upcoming winter. Everybody's suffered somehow, and lost almost everything. It's no surprise – what's to expect after a war of all packs in the world.

As decided, there'll be the first meeting of all Alphas and Betas of the seven packs from all continents where all the plans for the foreseeable future will be created, such as the law, borders, treaties, etc.

This meeting is also supposed to be a gathering point for all the higher positioned wolfs to have a chance of choosing a mate and couples to go through the mating ceremony.

Due to it's lowest number in loss and destruction, the European Pack has been chosen as the location for this meeting.

Already three months after the end of the war and two months before the date of gathering, things seem to change for the people. Everyone is tired of blood shedding, brutality, and conflict. Hope rises to find a person to spend their lives with and hope of a more peaceful life in general.

Aimee Murray has spent the last couple years basically living for nothing, mourning, and getting worn down, as she had already lost everything possibly important to her. She's supposed to accompany her cousin to the gathering, as she and one of the Betas of the European Pack will go through the ceremony. At first, Aimee tried to excuse herself but in the end, she has no option but come along. She didn't expect something great to happen. Little did she know, that after this her life would never be the same again, especially with an Alpha now by her side...
