{Author's POV}:

There was a weird feeling flowing through you, when you saw Jongup standing in your view. A small smile spreaded onto his lips, not even trying to answer your question. 

"Are you going to answer her?" Anna spoke, a bit annoyed.

"Oh, Daehyun hyung invited me too. You know Lisa's boyfriend." Jongup hesitated a bit.

"Boyfriend?!" You said, with shock, as you turned to look at Lisa.

"Surprise...." She half-whispered, with a smile. 

A soft chuckle escaped your lips before you turned back to look at Jongup. He's still the same. He didn't change. 

"So is that why you're here?" You asked him, with a embarrassed smile.

"Yeah, Lisa's your friend right? I would want to come for her birthday." Jongup responded, while taking a seat on Jungkook's chair.

"Oh." You simply said.

"So you're not here for ~~~~~ right?" Lisa questioned.

A smile that on Jongup's face slowly faded away. My best friends already knew about our break up. Whenever the break up is mentioned, I just want to walk away. I wish it wouldn't even happened. 

"N-No. I'm not here for that." Jongup stammered a bit.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Lisa muttered, under her breath.

With that, her boyfriend Daehyun walked over and suggested that she should come with him for a walk on the beach. So Lisa did, when she gave me a look for my permission and I let her go. Also, Anna also left with Youngjae, who wanted to walk around the beach with her. So it was now me and Jongup. 

"So did you come by yourself?" Jongup spoke, to break the silence.

"No. I'm here with Jungkook." You responded, a bit awkward.

"O-Oh. H-Him." Jongup stuttered, a bit taken back.

"Yeah." You whispered. 

"Well, where is he at then?" He asked, fake smiling. 

"He went to get some food." You softly said.

"Oh." He simply answered.

"It's been a long time. So I'll just go look for him." You said, standing up from your chair. 

"Oh okay. Then I'll see you around then." Jongup said, with a small grin.

"Okay. Bye." You said, with a smile.

With that, you walked passed Jongup, your heart thumping for some reason. A pained feeling in your heart, that your smile faded away. But Jongup, whenever he thought about you, he knew that he couldn't get you back. So it hurt him. Meanwhile, you quickly walked towards the hub, with all the food and drinks. 

"Where is he at?" You mumbled to yourself. 

Your eyes roamed around the place, looking for Jungkook, but there was so many people. A sigh escaped your lips, after walking around the place, not finding any sign of Jungkook.
