I woke up and sat up from my bed. I watched as inferno slept peacefully. I was starving and probably when he woke up he would be starving too.

I stood up and walked out of the warm cave. I came farther down towards the frozen ocean and plotted myself onto the frozen seas crystal ground. Remember, fly away as fast as you can if the ground shows cracks, as soon as you hit the frozen water you'll drown and die underneath the new layer of ice. Whispered my fathers voice in my head who was talking to my young curious brothers who were about to go on a dangerous fishing trip.

I put my hands on the ice and moved the frost away, no signs of cracks in the ice, that meant it would be hard to break through the ice but at least I wouldn't die.

I grabbed my spear hanging from my backpack and swung it into the ice, over and over till I cracked it's frozen surface. I started creating my fishing hole...

I came back with three salmon. "You amaze me every time." Replied inferno looking at the salmon I put in my small wooden bucket. "Ugh, not many fish out there, plus it was my first time ice fishing." I admitted.

We cooked the salmon and ate. After we finished our breakfast we sat outside together. I watched the clouds swirl around the sky. Rays clearly shining through the white clouds.

"The clouds, they never seemed to do that during the winter." I whispered. Inferno came closer towards me. Putting his warm wing around me. "Tell me, where do you come from." He murmured in my ear.

I sighed. "It's a long story." I whispered staring deeply into his golden eyes. "I came from a kingdom, far in the West from here. People just like me, exactly almost lived in that kingdom. But I was different, people would call me a freak, hurt me, make me feel like I was garbage." I closed my eyes and whimpered, brushing a tear from my cheek. "I tried hiding in corners, sometimes I would run away but they would just keep coming, keep hurting me."

"You ran away." He whispered. "Just like me." I nodded.

Inferno looked out into the frozen sea. "People in my city thought I was different too, the kids, or more like teens now would bully me, hurt me, I tried staying strong but I just gave up and ran away. it had all been a blur, I think I got swept away by some type of great storm and landed in some cold area. A endless frozen sea it seemed. I didn't know where I was, it was so dark and I just kept on going till I couldn't no longer move, I lost hope and fell into a deep coma. I thought I was dead."

Suddenly a blinding light came through the frosty clouds. I watched it till my eyes couldn't take no more of it. My eyes were filling up with tears. "What is it." He questioned looking into the lights furious flares. "The sun, for the first time in a decade, its coming out of the clouds!" I shouted in pure joy.

I hopped from off the ground. Reaching my hand towards the light. My hair fluttering from behind me. The fog slowly evaporating away. I felt the breeze in my face, the warmth of the sun, a clear sign that summer had arisen, what I've been dreaming and wishing for so long...

"It's beautiful." Inferno Whispered. "More beautiful than it is in a waste land." I watched the sea as it shimmered to the suns rays. "Summer, finally, it's here." I whispered slowly putting my hand down, tears still falling down from my cheek at its beauty.

Inferno came from behind me, wiping my tears away with his hand. I faced him. His eyes burning deeply towards mines. "Inferno." I whispered softly. His hand caressed my cheek. I wasn't in awe over the shinning rays of the sun but instead his golden sparkling eyes, his shimmering flowing black hair, his shining skin, and his beautiful black horns.

I reached out to kiss his lips and he gladly accepted it. Feeling every corner of his mouth. I pulled my body towards his and threw my hands around his body. My feathered wings folding around his body and his scaled wings folding around mines, Feeling his immense warmth.

His lips trailing down my throat and mines doing the same. I kissed his cheeks, his chin, everything until once again our lips met back together.

I looked into his eyes...only to see his face replaced with a dragon. I backed away...almost falling from off the rocky cliff. A giant red dragon with blazing yellow eyes replaced Inferno. Growling and facing towards me. Smoke trembling from out of his nostrils. The sky suddenly turned a swirling black. The sun rays falling away. Once again I was back in the frozen hallway. My heart was racing. I was gasping for breathe and I could feel the coldness of the hallway flutter through my face, leaving a shiver down my spine...

I closed my eyes. "Make it go away! Make it go away!" I Shouted feeling the energy scorching my throat. "Winter, are you ok!" Infernos voice yelled in my head. I opened my eyes to see the red dragon. I lifted my hand and a blast of blue energy threw the giant red dragon into the hallways frozen walls.

Suddenly in a blinding white light I was back on the cliff and inferno was unconscious on the frosty ground. It was just a illusion. My knees fell onto the ground, I stared at my hand. My skin a blinding white and my veins glowing a bright blue. What have I become?

A tear fell from my eye and landed onto the frozen ground. My wings lifted into the cold air. I stood up and flew through the crispy cold air, far away from Inferno.
