TWO DAYS LATER...

GRETCHEN's POV:

"And now.. we have some heart breaking news. Reporting from Chicago, here's Eileen on a brand new story. Does Harry Styles of One Direction have a girlfriend? And who is she?!". I opened my eyes and stared hard at the TV in front of me. We went out last night to a bar, and got back late.

Some of us got more drunk than others..

So we crashed at this motel. I buried my head in the covers as the reporter began to speak, and I looked up at Harry; who lay beside me, comforting me, and providing me warmth in bed.

He never changed from last night; still in his white-button-down shirt, and skinny jeans, he lay next to me, curled up, head resting on mine. He too, was looking at the glowing screen.

"It may break a couple of our teenage girls' hearts, too see their beloved Harry Styles with a girl of his own." said the Chicago reporter, and unfortunately, she was reporting right outside our motel.

Ever since Harry announced us publicly two days ago, we've been more flirtatious and fun towards each other. Finding ourselves deep in a snog, or cuddling sweetly at night, or during the day on the tourbus. 

"We've been able to find out some information about this mystery girl. Who she is, where she came from.. and why she knows Harry." my stomach churned, and Harry and I looked at each other with bravery, as we sat up, and decided it was time to actually face the TV.

"Apparantly, until five days ago, she and Harry had never known each other. They'd never seen each other in their lives. In fact, this girl, Gretchen Bridges, was just another Directioner out amongst the crowd." she paused, as all the Directioners standing beside her, gasped, exchanging glances, and holding in sobs.

It's fine, Gretchen. They can't say anything bad about you if they don't even really know who you are.

"They met at a Meet and Greet in Philedelphia, and after a romantic slow dance on stage, UNSCRIPTED, Directioners began asking questions. Reporters have pictures of Harry in fact saving her life from bullies, outside the theatre; after he ran off stage, leaving the audience angry and confused, and wanting refunds.."

Harry looked down at his hands, and then put one around my shoulder, smiling at me, and kissing my forehead gently.

"And now, they were seen out together in a nearby Friendly's. Now making their stay here in Chicago, will we see a public outing? More on them, after the break-" the TV turned black. The pixels flickered on and off, before completely going black.
