Rumples POV
"You ready?" Emma said, quickly poking her head through the door.
"Of course;" I say sternly.
I feel so guilty about what I've done to Belle. I could see in her eyes she was heart-broken. She's going to think that I think she can't protect herself... I just... I need her to be safe. I've lost so many loved ones, I'm not going to lose her.
I should probably call Belle, if she answers.
To my surprise, she did.
"Belle," i smile, happily surprised.
"Hi," she sniffed. She'd obviously been crying.
"Are, are you okay?" I asked, shyly.
"Fine..." She was being blunt with me.
"Belle, sweetheart, you have to know I'm only trying to protect you," I tear up slightly.
It was a while before she answered.
"I know that's why I-"
Belles piercing scream ripped through the phone.
"Belle?!" I yell.
All I could hear was Belle screaming, struggling footsteps.
"RUMPLE!!" I could hear her scream.
I heard a clink as something metal hit the floor.
"NO, NO PLEASE!" I could hear Belle crying.
There was more struggling, screaming and what sounded like kicking.
And all I could do was stand there and listen. Helpless.
Then everything stopped.
Belle was gone.
My most prized possesion, stolen.
