{POV Dragon}

This is one tall building...
I think to myself as I lean against the glass side of the ever rising elevator. The height doesn't scare me though, nor does it scare my brother. I mean, how could it possibly scare a duo that spends half the time in the skies?

"Yo," My brother starts.

"What's our game plan? I think we should take advantage of our early arrival, set up an ambush, and kill off those fuckers right away."

"No no no no way in hell my dude, those warriors aren't going down without a long, hard fight." I quickly respond.
"They aren't like the normal guys we take down in a couple of seconds, they're trained killing-machines. Ox for example, the man's been killin' since the age of five."

Semi-surprised, my brother asks "Wait up, Ox-guy is gonna be there? Who else?"

"Uhh it's easy to assume that aside from Ox, we'll be up against Monkey and Boar as well."

"So basically you're saying that the line-up is extremely boring."

"Boring?" I chuckle. "Maybe to you but the way I see it it's pretty tough."

"Right..." My brother says with a tinge of sarcasm.

"Anyway lil' bro, I think we should take to the skies for the majority of the game. I'll fly us up to the top of a skyscraper or something."

Flying is an ability I've had for as long as I remember, people have called it 'Heaven's Holding'. It's quite awesome, and to be honest, it's a lot cooler than my brother's ability 'Earth's Guidance'. All that allows him to do is sense people's movement from a distance without having to look for them. However, this combo of earth and sky gives us some nice synergy - on top of a bomb advantage on the battlefield.

"Uh huh, so just hide out? Then what?" He questions.

"Then, I'll scout around from time to time to see the state of the game. Once the time is right, we attack."

"So I'm just gonna be helpless at the top of a tall-ass building half the time?"

"No lil' bro, I'll keep ya safe. After all, it's the older brother's job to play hero for his little brother, right?" I say in a sly manner.

All Snake does is respond with a scoff. He doesn't like it when I belittle him like that. Eh, whatever, it's amusing to see him annoyed from time to time.

70, 75, 80...

For a good forty floors silence ensued. I usually like silence, but this... this silence is eerie, cold, and just plain horrible. Judging by my brother's somewhat frowned expression and dazed eyes, I can tell he's imagining our deaths. Oh shit. That's right... we're probably going to die. And if we don't, we'll have to kill each other. I'd rather kill myself before killing hi—

"Hey bro, who do you think is gonna take care of all my lizards?" My brother says, interrupting my train of thought. I wonder if he could see the distress in my eyes.

"I dunno man, you'll take care of them?"

"That's optimistic." He replies rather shrewdly.

110, 115, 120...

Silence has befallen once again, and as the elevator keeps going up and up 150 floors, I want to be home more than ever.

Trying to break the silence again, my brother starts,
"Remember that last heist by the boatyard? Who stole the more valuable item?"

150.

"Shut it, this is our floor." I command. However, I start to think back. Who won that time? I think it was him... I shake off my thoughts and concentrate on the present moment. My brother and I are silent as we walk in sync toward the centre on the large room.

"So we are the first ones he—"

"Hey"

My brother and I jerk toward the origin of the sound. What we see is really a sight to behold...

"What the fuck?" Snake whispers to himself.

My thoughts aren't so far off from his. About 6 meters in front of us stands a relatively young man in a tuxedo. His arms are completely stretched out, his hands holding two glasses of some drink. Juuni Taisen staff? No... there's something too weird about this guy. He has a huge bunny-like tail behind him, along with a pair of black bunny ears. The weirdest thing about him though, is his face. He has white hair slightly covering one eye, and he has a very very very very surprised expression. On top of that, his eyes are messed up; they're black with red irises.

"I call first kill." My brother exclaims fiercely.

"Wait up, he might be Taisen staff." I warn.

"Yeah right, does he really look like staff to you?"

I ignore Snake's remark and proceed to focus on the weirdo.

"You," I say to the white-haired guy. "Are you taking part in the Juuni Taisen?"

All the freak did was blink hard a few times, as if offended by my question. Or maybe, he was simply lost for words.

"I am... Usagi... Warrior of? The Rabbit. Killing psychotically."

His voice was just as weird as he was, and his phrasing? Well, even weirder. It was extremely choppy, hell, it sounded as if he didn't even know who he was. Nevertheless, my brother and I respond how we're supposed to.

"I am the elder Tatsumi brother, Warrior of the Dragon, killing for money."

My twin smirks and says his part.

"I am the younger Tatsumi brother, Warrior of the Snake, very much killing for money."

This was the commencement of the first battle, well, technically not the first battle, as the game hadn't started yet.

I grip onto my ice-thrower while my brother holds onto his flame-thrower. I'll give this battle a proper name: battle zero.
