Another chance

Chapter 10

Riker Pov

Emma is still in the bathroom

She has been in there for an hour

She won’t talk to anyone or come out.

Rydel is up there at the minute outside the door

I sigh and ask Ryland

“Should I call Jacky to come?” I say

He looks over at me and say

“I think you should”

I sigh again “ok”

I get up and walk to the kitchen

I get my phone out and call Jacky

(Jacky=j) (Riker=r)

---- Phone call---

J= hello

R= hello this is riker the parent who adopted Emma

J= ok how is she?

R= well that is why I’m calling

J= go on

R= well this morning around 6 when she was asleep as well as all of us. My brother Ross woke up to her screaming and shouting “stop your hurting me please stop”

Jacky sighs through the phone

J= any think else?

R= yeah

J= carry on

R=well when I went into her room she was crying hiding under blanket, I went over t her and picked her up which lead to her to shouting “put me down” kicking and throwing her arms around. I put her down she got up ran to the bathroom and locked the door now she won’t open it or speck to any of us

She sighs again

J= ok I got to speck to a few people about this and I will get back to you in the next hour.

R= ok thank you bye

J= bye

---End of phone call---

I sigh as I put my phone away

I walk back to the living room and sit down

---45 minutes later---

My phone goes off I pull it out of my pocket and asker it

(Jacky= j) (Riker=r)

---Phone call---

R= hello

J= hello 

J= about Emma, well we are going to take her back for a few days just so we can get to the bottom of the problem

R= are we going to get her back?

J= yes

R= ok

J=I’m going to come and pick her up so can you have a small bag of her stuff in it please

R= sure

J=see you soon

r- Bye

---End of phone call---

“Family meeting” I yell

Soon everyone comes down to the living room

“I just got off the phone with Emma’ social worker and she are going to take bad to the care home for a few days just to find out the problems” I say

“But we are getting her back are we not?" rydel say sounding like she was going to start crying

“We are getting her back go rydel?” I say

“Ok” she start sounding better

We all went back to what we were doing

 Ross Ratliff and rocky went back to playing there game

Rydel went back up to the bathroom were Emma is

And me and Ryland went up to her to pack her a bag

Another an hour later there was a knock on the door

I got up from the watching the TV

And walked to the door

I open the door and Jacky is standing there

“Come in” I say to her

“Thanks” she says smiling at me

I smile back then it turns into a frown as I think that she is here to take Emma with her

I sing

“So what’s going to happen with Emma?” I say

“well I need you to tell me again what happen then I will go and see if I can get her out of the bathroom” she said

“So what happens if you can’t get her to come out of the bathroom?” I ask her

“We will cross that road when it comes to it”

It tell her the story of what happened earlier with Emma

She goes up to the bathroom

She ups there a few minutes then rydel walks down the stairs and goes into the living room

I follow her in

About 10 minutes later we hear footsteps coming from the stairs

We all get up and go to the living door

 Jacky is walking down the stairs

She is holding hands with Emma

As they was about to walk past the door

Emma stopped looked up to me and said

“I’m sorry daddy and I love you daddy and all my uncles and my ant”

I smiled

Then they went through the door

My smile turned into a frown as a single tear rolled down my cheek

sorry i took so long 

i had a bad hand so i could not type fast. 

half term so i should get a few chapters posted the next week

please don't stop reading my book

i am so sorry i am updating so slow but i want my chpaters to be go.
