(Author's note: Forgive me for how long this part took. College life had me busy but I'm free now! This is another long part since the beginning is back story of our dear doctor so please bear with it until the end. Thank you as always!)

Seoul was dirtier and less pristine than Yoongi and his older brother had originally thought but that didn't matter when they were finally being transported to somewhere far better than the prison facility they had been held in. The two brothers had been essentially kidnapped and thrusted into a black official looking van that brought them to a prison facility in Seoul after the death of their parents back in Daegu. Once there, they had been separated and tortured into releasing information on fellow communists despite both men denying being communists in the first place. Nobody believed them.

And the two weren't even allowed to give their parents a proper send off so the whereabouts of their mother and father's body was unknown and that stirred an indescribable mesh of negative emotions that manifested as sharp tangent bile in Yoongi's throat. More than once he had felt the urge to throw up and allow it all to be dumped out so he could feel human again. But no matter how many times he actually threw up, nothing worked. He felt empty. He felt soulless. He felt nothing.

Only his brother kept him sane and even that familial love wasn't enough to save him from his declining mental state as the days and weeks increased. Now, after a couple of months had past and the two brothers were being moved to a mental care facility since the younger brother's behavior was becoming more erratic. After their parents' death and two months of straight up torture, Yoongi had hit his breaking point and had tried to burn down his cell with him in it once he had stolen a lighter off of a guard.

After the suicidal younger brother had been thrown into isolation, his brother had pleaded to appeal for his release into better conditions that would help his and his younger brother's condition. It had been a success and now here they were on their way to St. Mary's Mental Hospital to live new lives as patients under the nurses and doctors' care.

It went well for about a month and it seemed as if the two would recover. But then it happened.

It was a late night as always, when the hospital was at its quietest as patients slept in their rooms and staff worked on reports and referrals in their cozy offices that the two Min brothers met in the music room of the hospital. Granted, the room was open but no one was really supposed to be there at this time of night. But it was important for Yoongi's recovery to be able to play the piano within so his older brother promised they would sneak inside every night so the younger one could play it.

Tonight was no different though Yoongi seemed more tired and out of it than usual but as he sat down next to his brother to play one of his own composed pieces, he seemed to recover. On the other hand, as he heard his younger brother play, the older Min brother was brought back to their home in Daegu wondering if their parents could hear the gentle and haunting melody their youngest son was playing from wherever they may be. The day they died, the older brother's dreams had died and he became quieter and colder towards everyone besides his younger brother. He no longer wished to serve this fucked up country. He only served himself. Himself and Yoongi.

The pianist suddenly stopped and said, "Hyung, when we get out what should I name my first song?"

His older brother smiled, keenly sensing how things had switched. But it was a sad smile. The one who had been more grounded in reality and had seen things from a rational perspective had been Yoongi while the dreamer had been his older brother. But now it was the opposite. Was that really a good thing though? Was it good that his younger brother wanted to pursue his sudden dream of being a music producer and artist when that had been born from the excruciating torture and mental anguish he had endured and absorbed? Honestly, there were times that his older brother would look at Yoongi and realize his brother was no longer attached to reality. He was in his own world, lost in memories that were long dead.
