Chapter 4

Mia's pov

Before the sun comes up I'm wide awake. I'm use to getting up early and cooking for my crew but I'm not on my ship so I don't know what to do. (I should get up and get something to eat)
I get up from the bed and get my shoes from where I left them last night. I looked over to where Leo is and he is still sleeping. He snoring but not to loud. Maybe that's what woke me up.

I make my way to the second deck of the ship. I find the stairs on the other side of the main deck on the right side of the ship. Once I get to the end of the stair case, I take a left to a big kitchen. They have all types of food. I decided to make some soup. I should go ahead and cook for the whole crew. I got a big ass cooking pot. Not as big as the ones on my ship but it will have to do. I start to cut vegetables and some chicken.

As I'm almost done cooking I hear someone coming down the stairs. I turn around to see Leo come down the stairs. He looked surprised when he saw me.
"What are ya doing?"
"Cooking some soup. I get up in the mornings to cook for my crewmembers. It's the least I can do for them since I'm always ordering around. And I got hungry."
" That's nice and all but we have a cook ya know. Ya could have waited a few more minutes."
"Well let him have the morning off I got it today and any other day I wake up before him."
He just smirks and comes over to where I am. He puts his hand on the lower part of my back. He not touching my ass this time.
"What's this?"
"Chicken soup. Ya never had it before?"
"Naw, our cook don't know how to cook stuff like that. It's always something simple. But we can't always complain at least we get to eat."
"Oh well now ya have me. I can make more food like this if ya like?"
"That would be great" He gets an apple from one of the many shelves in the kitchen and starts to eat it. It looks like he wants to say something but holds back. When he was about to start saying something Jack-ass walks in.(ugh what does he want?) I already have an annoyed look on my face and the sun is not even out yet.

"That smells so good. What is it?" When I was about to answer. Leo speaks up and says chicken soup.
They stare at each other for a few secounds. Seemed like they were having a silent conversation.

"Is every one awake now?" I ask to break the silence
"Yea just about...why?" Jack-ass answers
"So everyone can eat. Can ya get the plates for me so I can serve them?"
Before Jack-ass can even answer Leo says "I got it." Walks over to the other sides of the kitchen and got most of the bowls they had.

"Let me serve them love. I don't want ya to get burned serving this seadogs." Leo says with a smile. I just blush and move out the way so he can do it. (He is such a gentleman. I want to get to know him....wait what is wrong with me?) I hand him the bowls one by one. Jackson was standing behide us. Just looking with a mad face. After a few mintues passed he went away.

I feel sad or sorry for him. He doesnt seem like a bad guy after all. I want to go talk to him but I don't know what to say. So I leave it alone for now. Leo is done serving so I just left and went back up stairs.

When I get up the stairs half of the crew is already awake or waking up.

"Hey guys there's some chicken soup down stairs if ya hungry."

I have neve seen so many child like eyes looking back at me in my life. Some run to get the food others just walk with a sleepy but hungry look. I had to get out the way so they wouldn't mow me over. I then remember the reason I went to the kitchen. (why didn't I just grab a bowl?)

Frustrated with myself, I make my way back down stairs. I see all the guys eating fast. (I hope they don't choke or drown? Hmm....can you drown in a bowl? I have to look into that) Some just pick up the bowl and drunk it down like nothing. I notice there's no more bowls full with food. Just some empty ones. I Was about to wash one when Leo hands me a clean one.
"Thanks"
"Ya welcome love" He leans on the counter and watches his crew eat. I served me some food and leaned by side him.
"So I guess they like the food huh?"
"Yea they did. Some got secounds.....OK well every one did. Even me."
I smile and begin to eat. I watch over all the crew members. Every one is full. Some are Finishing what they have left. My eyes land on Jackson and I see he hasn't eaten much. I walk over to him and sit beside him.
"Ya alright?"
"Oh im great" He looks away when he says it.
"Jackson I-"

"OK ya are fed now get to work. We are not to far from KingCoves". Every one got up and left.
"I have to work see ya around Captain." He left his food. He didnt even eat. I finish eating and start to pick up the bowls.

"Oh love you dont have to do that I'll get some one else to do it." I realize Leo is the only one who didnt leave
"Its fine I got it. I don't have nothing else to do on this ship so might as well help with something."
"Are ya always this stubborn?"
"How do ya think I got captain? Surly not with my good looks." I tease
"Well that's how I got mine" he Teases back.
We both smile at the comments
"Well since ya want to do that I'll help."
"Like I said I got this."
"And like I said I can help. A little help doesnt hurt no one."
" Are ya always this stubborn?"
"Only when I want something "
That stops me from picking up more bowls. He then relaizes what he says. "I didnt mean it in a sexual way towards ya"
"Yea....ya should get some one to clean this." I put the bowls down and start to walk to the stairs.
"Mia I'm sorry" he calls out. I just keep walking away from him and run to his room and lock the door. (He wants sex. Thats all he wants. Just when I started to like him. Ugh I need a nap. Im just gonna sleep this off)
