Chapter 8 - Results

Still can't move on, seriously? Alam niyo ba na 'yong man in black na 'yon. Wait? Ano na kasi pangalan niya? Urgh, whatever. As of now lakas maka-iwas sa'kin ang gago. Aba?! I freakin' healed his bruises pero ngayon iniiwasan niya ko? Just what the eff.

Oo nga pala, huminto na 'yong exam or maybe tapos na dagil sa nangyari? But still, I can't believe na may mga creatures na gan'to rito. What's with this school? This isㅡ

"Students go to the assembly court for you to know passed the Exam. Thank you."

"Let's go Cynth!" I nearly slapped Vere when she hold my shoulder geez, she startled me.

"Geez, don't do that again. I almost slapped you, you know?" I said while looking at her clueless face. So cute.

"OMG! Sorry okay? Hindi ko naman akalain na magugulatin ka pala." Maiyak-iyak na tawa niya.

Nakarating na kami sa assembly court, 'kung kanina ay simple lang na as in court lang ngayon naman sa stage may white board. 'Yon lang, okay 'yon lang talaga ang naro-roon.

"Students students! Are you ready to know if you passed the exam?" Tanong n'ong matandang lalaki, siya rin 'yong nagsasalita kanina.

"I'm sure that we passed the Exam, right Guine?" Proud na proud na tanong ni Guine kay Vere.
Tango tango naman 'yong isa, with thumbs up pa. Ang cute talaga nila.

"Before I announce who passed the Exam let me first announce who rank while having the Entrance Exam"

Lahat kami ay napanganga sa sinabi n'ong matanda, so may ranking? Geez, this school really frustrates the hell out of me.

"They are only 4 students who got the ranking." Tahimik ang ang lahat dahil seryosong seryoso sila na nakikinig.
"The 3rd one is...." And a loud 'tud tud tud tud' sound that makes my eardrums crashed at the moment.
"Vere Marquez!" And a huge round of applause when Vere's name is called.

Vere's expression is so priceless, para siyang nanalo ng lotto. I congratulated her and mouthed 'fighting'.

"Vere Marquez got an overall 5,100 points and because of that she will receive a gift from our principal." Binigay naman n'ong matandang lalaki 'yong mic sa Principal and my jaw dropped when I saw the Principal, she's the friend of Mama?! Oh gosh.
She congratulated Vere and gave her a bracelet. Yes, a bracelet. What's so special with that?

"Our 2nd placer is Mariesse Gen Nuarrez!" Okeh. I don't know her, so the announcement go on and on.

"1st placer is Zephyr Auster!" I'm so shookt kaya naman agad akobg tumingin n'on marinig ko ang pangalan na 'yon. That brat.

Binigyan siya ng black sword and he freakin' got 8,900 points like who the eff is he?! Nagsigawan ang mga estudyante, may mga nagbubulungan pa na kesyo 'gwapo raw', 'cool' at kung ano ano pa.

"And ofcourse, our champion who got an overall of 10,000 points.." Nagsigawan naman 'yong mga estudyante, grabe ang taas like woo.
"Is... Cynth Rhyan Arquez!" Wait what? Did I misheard it?

"OMG, congrats ate!" Ngiting-ngiti ni Guine. Ngumiti ako kahit papaano and nilibot 'ko 'yong mata ko but too bad diring diri ang mga estudyante na bumubulong ngayon.

"Seriously? The nerd?"
"Baka mali? HAHAHAHA"
"Ew, her face is so dirty dirty yak."

They talk and laugh and me? Bish please, I don't care. So ayon, I tried to calm myself and umakyat na sa stage, the Principal gave me an earrings. Seriously?

I caught off guard when a girl raised her hand, nagtanong siya 'kung paano naging gan'on ang points ko. Geez, people really don't know how to shut their mouth. Lakas maka-question e' no? Gigil niya ilong ko, siya nalang kaya rito since I hate attentions.

"Did you guys know that..." Nag-isip muna si Ma'am Flores 'kung magsasalita ba siya o' hindi. Finally, I remember her name.
"May pumasok na Dantalion dito?" Tanong niya, napa 'what-is-that-look' naman ang mga estudyante.
"Dantalion (or Dantalian) is a powerful Great Duke with thirty-six legions of under his command." Patuloy ne'to napa 'oh' naman ang mga estudyante.
"And Cynth killed the Dantalion, 'kung hindi niya napatay 'yon ay sigurado ako na sunog na kayong lahat." Sabi nito at tumawa; "So dahil sa kagitingan niya we add 5,000 points so bali ang original niyang score is 5,000 so 5,000 thousand plus another 5,000 is equal to 10,000 thousand so got it?" Napanganga naman 'yong mga estudyante, maski ako like duh?

So that ends there, iyong mga pasado na wala sa ranking ay tignan nalang daw sa bulletin board. Ang mga nasa rankings kasi ay automatically na pasado na so yeah, I'm happy.
Pumunta kami sa bulletin board para tignan 'kung pumasa ba si Guine but sad to say na hindi siya pumasa.

"Okay lang 'yan Guine! May next time pa naman." Sabi ko pero tinawanan lang nila ako, huwat? Napapano naman 'tong dalawang mag-kapatid na 'to.

"Ah, Ate Cynth naka-receive ako ng letter na kahit hindi ako pumasa ay dito parin ako but sa North naman 'yon."

"North?" Clueless 'kong tanong.

"You're too mean Ate!" Sagot ni Guine sakanya while pouting her cute lips.
"Bahala ka d'yan, oh? Tsuu na tsuu!" Nakakatawa talaga 'tong magkapatid na 'to, ewan ko ba 'kung mag-kapatid talaga sila oh mag-kaaway.

'Distance Cynth, distance' sabi ng utak ko. And with that words I got it, hindi dapat ako magpadala.

Umalis na si Guine and hinahanap naman namin 'yong dorm. I'm really tired, especially ang init na ng wig. Geez, first day na bukas.
