Hello lovely Unicornians. I'm currently in bed eating Trolli sour gummy worms bored out of my mind. I came to a conclusion though that I will be posting a chapter every Tuesday each week. Now on to the chapter. I hope you enjoy <3.

"Maddie slow down." David yells at me. We are currently on our way home from school. David was busy telling me a story about this hot dude he met until I saw Ethan's car and took off running with David beside me.

Though I might have left him slightly behind with all the adrenalin rushing through me. I come to a stop immediately after hearing him yell causing David to crash into me.

We went falling fast. Before my head could collide with the pavement David flipped us over to where I was on top of him. An 'oof' escaped both of us at the contact.

His head to the pavement. My head to his rock hard chest. Groaning and clutching my head I rolled off of him. David was copying my position with his hands clutching his head and groans of pain escaping him.

I paid no attention to the car driving by us until I heard an all too familiar voice call from it. "Are you okay?" Ethan questions. I hear a car door shut before Ethan's face appears in my line of vision.

"Does it look like I'm fucking okay?" I snap only to release another groan at the pain. "How are- How are you in more pain than me woman! My chest isn't that hard!" Exclaims David who is now fully recovered. Okay well not fully, but almost fully.

"Says the one who at least managed to use his hands as some cushion. My head collided with your fucking chest!" I shriek only to groan again.

"You gave me a headache." I whine to David. A chuckle escaping someone brought my attention back to Ethan.

Is it bad I forgot he was there?

...

Nah.

I have a really short attention span.

"Would you two like a ride home?" Ethan questions.

"Yes".

"No".

Escapes David and I at the same time. We glare at each other before I let out a huff. "Fine..." I grumble which causes a huge grin to appear on Ethan's face.

He holds a hand out for me to take, but I just stare at it before getting up by myself. His smile falters a little as he moves his hand down to his side. I wanted to feel guilty for the frown that took over his face but I couldn't.

"Gee thanks mate for the help up." David grumbles as I chuckle and wipe dust off of my hands. "Oh er...right sorry. Let's go." Ethan stammers and walks over to the car.

He opens the passenger door for me while David gets in the back seat. I stare at the seat for a minute in front of me sorting out the pros and cons.

Pros.

I like sitting up front.

It makes me feel powerful somehow. Don't ask why I won't be able to explain it.

Cons....

Sitting next to my ex boyfriend.

Sighing I get in the passengers seat and allow Ethan to close the door for me.

Chivalry never dies.

"Chivalry never dies." Ethan whispers softly but I managed to hear it. My whole body tenses up as I freeze in my seat.
