"Hey do you guys want to come over later and watch a movie?" David asks both Harrison and Ethan who have been sitting at the table for the past week. I wanted to strangle David by this point, but there are too many witnesses so I'll just murder him with my eyes.

Ever since Harrison and Ethan came over for dinner that night he has been inviting them over every single day.

And guess what?

They agree.

Why can't I have a normal best friend who can hate my ex with me?

Do you honestly hate Ethan though...?

I...I.... Nevermind that.

"Yea sure." Harrison says while Ethan just nods his head because of the mouthful of food in his mouth.

At least he is still a gentleman in some ways. "What are we doing?" Ethan asks through his mouthful just as I thought that.

I cringed at the sight of his chewed up food and looked away.

Nevermind they are all disgusting pigs.

"Movie?" Harrison chirps hopefully. I chuckled at how enthusiastic he sounded. By the time David said yes Harrison was grinning wider than the Chesire cat. It was adorable watching him act this way.

I never saw him this happy before. In the past sure he smiled and laughed alot. He cracked jokes and looked on the bright side of things, but with David he somehow seems even more happier.

So does David.

I internally gave myself a high-five for being a good Cupid.

"Maddie! Hellooooo!" David drawls out and waves a hand in my face, disturbing me from my thoughts. "Yes?" I question him. "I've been calling your name for ten whole minutes. What on earth were you thinking about?" He asks dramatically.

I look down at my watch and notice it's only been a flipping minute. With a scowl on my face I answer him "Nothing now what do you want?" I ask a bit annoyed.

"Harrison and I are going somewhere after school so I need you to ride with Ethan home." He tells me. My eyes widen and my mouth falls open. Ride home with Ethan?

"David why don't you take Harrison's car and leave mine?" I ask him. "I left my car at home." Harrison explains kindly. "It's my car. Have Ethan take you where you want to go or I can. You can always walk or...or...or something!" I exclaim and throw my hands up in the air.

Sometimes I need my dramatic moments. They keep me insane.

Yet at the end if the day... I never win a conversation.

"Honey I'm home!" Harrison calls out as him and Ethan barge inside the house. "Gee make yourself at home why don't you?" I ask sarcastically which earns me a grin from both of the boys.

"Yay you're here!" David exclaims and gives Harrison a bone crushing hug. I broke it up when I saw Harrison's face turning purple. "David I don't think he can breath...." I inform him, causing my excited best friend to let go of his...whatever they are right now.

"So are you two dating or what?" Ethan asks in confusion while I watch from the couch. The two boys look at each other with flushed faces. David started squirming around slightly while Harrison looked down at the ground and shoved his hands in his pocket.

"Uhm...well we haven't really...talked about it..." Harrison mumbles shyly. I smile at the two embarrassed boys and chuckle softly when David adds a yet to finish Harrison's sentence.
