I got up and took in my surroundings, this is not my room. Oh wait, I look around frantically to find her, but she went away. A feeling of sadness enveloped me. Like I lost someone important to me, but that cant be? I mean I don't even know her name.
I stood up and walked out of the room to see the usual bodies past out on anything and everything. I get out to find my car and see my friends all talking
"Hey" they say smirking at me
"Well you got no sex hair so what were you doing last night"
"Who said I wasn't having sex" I smirk, and they laugh. We get in the car and head to my house where everyone got freshened up and ready for school. these boys are at my house so often it's practically theirs.
We drive to school and I get ready for a horrible start to this day. We walk inside and are met with the usual stares, it doesn't faze me though. A girl in a scarf walked past me but didn't even make eye contact, what if she was? No! Stop it. You promised! But I can't help thinking about her, I didn't promise that I wouldn't think of her. A smirk makes it way to my face as I find the loophole, but even so I won't find out who she is. The smirk vanishes and is replaced with a frown.
"You seem lost. Is everything ok?" Jacob asks
"Yeah" I say, and he nods but shows that he doesn't believe me.
The bell goes, and we head to our own lessons I make my way up the maths corridor. While many others seem to hate it, I enjoy it. I took my seat at the back and saw a group of girls walk in, all but one wearing a scarf on their heads. They took seats next to each other and started talking in hushed whispers. I've never paid any attention to them before and now, after one night, I'm looking at every single one of them. None of them stand out to me as the girl from last night but maybe that's how good she is at hiding herself. How will I ever know who she is? Its only been two hours since I've woken up today and she's crossed my times more than any other girl has before.
The teacher starts with the lesson and I answer the questions with ease until the bell goes then leave. Now onto English, while I speak a good level of it, it has always been my weakness. "Today I will examine your creativity within literature. Think of a story, whether it's true or false it doesn't matter, and I want you to turn it into a sophisticated letter. The letter can be in your point of view or you can be the one receiving it" she smiles and lets everyone get started.
Now how is that possible, a story in the form of a letter? I shake my head and look around me, no one close by for me to ask them for help, instead I pull out my phone and listen to some music. A knock comes on the door and in comes a girl, her cheeks are red as she looks around the room noticing everyone's eyes on her. She is also one of those who wear a scarf on their head.
"Can I help you?" the teacher asks her
"Erm" she says quietly "Mr. Davis is asking for you" she says softly. Could she be? But what if? Before I can register anything, she's gone, I didn't even get a good look.
Lunch, now there's a class I excel at, then again who doesn't. I head to the back of the school to see my friends already smoking, apart from Jacob, he doesn't smoke at all. It doesn't change anything between us though and we've never forced him, in fact it makes us see him as stronger. I light my cigarette and lean against the wall.
"So, Adam, who was the girl from last night?"
"Hell, if I know. Didn't even get her name" I smirk knowing that is wasn't technically a lie. They start laughing which brought me ease knowing that they won't ask any more questions.
