i walk into my house and up the stairs on my way to my room but i'm stopped before i can go in.

"where do you think you're going?" leo cuts me off.

"to my room," i answer with a groan.

what now?

"you're not going anywhere."

"and why not?" i challenge, raising an eyebrow.

"you have some explaining to do."

"i don't have anything to explain."

"what are you doing with shawn mendes?" she asks.

"i told you, leo, he's my boyfriend."

"i don't believe you. i literally just heard you complaining about how rude he is yesterday to your friend."

"i just- i discovered a new side of him. he's nice."

"vivi, i love you and everything but i can't believe you took him from me. he was supposed to be mine. i liked him first." a tear slips out of her eye.

"leo, please don't cry. he isn't worth crying over." i put a comforting hand on her shoulder, but she immediately brushes it off.

"i'm not crying because of him, it's because of you." with one last look, she struts to her room.

i roll my eyes.

she's always such a drama queen.

i'll let her cool down for a bit.

it's been two hours since our little argument so i decide to check up on her.

i knock three times on her door and she opens it with an expectant look on her face.

i walk in.

"are you here to tell me you're going to dump him so he can be with me?" she asks, placing a hand on her waist.

"uh, no."

"then leave, you're not welcome here."

"please, leo. let's just talk about it, okay?"

"we have nothing to talk about until you break up with him."

"leo. i just want to help you."

"vivi, you can't help me! i hate everything, i hate myself, i hate my life!"

"calm down, everything is going to be fine."

"nothing's going to be fine. you always get what i want!"

this catches my attention.

i never knew she felt this way.

she takes a deep breath before continuing, "when we were dropped off at grandma's, you were barely two months old. you got all the attention. it was all 'lia, can you be quiet? you'll wake your baby sister','avi needs her milk' and 'avi needs a nap so we can't go out today'. 'avi' 'avi' 'avi'."

yes, we live with our grandma.

our mom passed away a month after giving birth to me and our dad left our mom months before that.

"i-i'm sorry," i look down.

"and then you grew up. you still get everything i want. first nathan and now shawn."

"you want nathan? take him."

i don't need that lying cheater.

well, i don't know if he cheated, but he definitely moved on really quickly.
