"Siblings." By Treasure Jackson.
This story is about a girl named Viola.
EVERYTHING IN THIS IS NOT REAL, NOR BASED ON A TRUE STORY.
I was born in the year 2000 on Tuesday in February, then, I was a newborn. Me, Viola, and my twin brother, Jason, and a 1-year-old older brother who was born in 1999, Colby, and my 16-year-old sister, Lily.
By then, we were born in an abusive home, my uncle was the only one who cared about us, my grandmother and grandfather hated us and my mother and father for having our sister at teenage age, my grandmother was found once holding my sister by the leg as a newborn out the window on the top floor of her house, my mom was frantic, my dad was fighting to get to her while the police were holding him back, my grandfather did nothing to stop her, my Uncle ran in there and stopped her himself and they were all teens.
Later, they moved into my father's parents' house since they, especially, my father were unable to trust my grandparents again.
My mom and dad loved us, it was just his parents that were abusive. He would fight non-stop with them about us, they were a good family before we came along, when my parents would leave to go to school and work, they beat my sister.
When I was a child, my sister sometimes told me I think, which made me wanna cry and I was terrified of going to visit as a child which she would never let me do... fear would STRIKE her in the chest every time my parents left, she'd hide under a table until her parents came home.
They were married then, and my sister was 7, my mother had her at 16, my father was 17, my sister was treated horribly for anything she did. Hiding under the table was the only place she didn't get in trouble unless they were eating, she made that mistake and was beaten for it.
She was hiding there until Shane and Mercy, my grandparents, decided to have lunch, my sister said to me when I was older "they never did it before, this was a first, and it was so well-timed," especially since they always knew she was there, she thought it was planned and I'm sure it was.
They were at the table, kicking their legs, and rubbing their feet together, all she could do was sit there, fearing what would happen if she got out...
She started nervously moving, which is what she did when she was nervous, and still does. She was accidentally hitting their legs as they were kicking on her body and head, then she accidentally hit the bottom of the table with her head, that was all they needed before they got up, looked under the table, and dragged her out from under the table by her legs, the back of her head hitting the floor, she was screaming from the pain and the fear from seeing her blood on the floor which was leading a trace as she was being dragged on the floor, she never saw so much blood in her life, and the fact it was coming from her own body was scary enough, from her own head!
They pulled her up by her blood-stained red hair, (her hair was orange), Shane was holding her up by her hair, while Mercy beat her badly, and then they laughed at her when she was on the floor, bleeding and bruised, and told her she was a bastard even though she was born inside of wedlock) she feared for her life when she was face down on the floor, they kicked her on her back, she thought she had done something bad because my grandmother told her "you deserve this! You're a little bastard! Anything you get is what you deserve! And You don't want to make us even madder, do you?"
My sister started crying and said "N-No! I d-don't! I'm scared! I'm your granddaughter! I want to make you happy! But, you're never happy! You make me cry! Sometimes, I think you don't love me!"
Now, they were angry, Mercy kicked her in the face, "You've been very bad! You just made us more mad, Angry! And now, you're in big trouble! And, do you know what I have to do, now? I have to choke you, and it's all your fault!" Mercy said, hoping to strike fear in her, and it worked, "please! Don't! Don't do it! I'll be good! Really! I'll be out of your way!"
