A/N (This stands for author's note if you didn't know) However smart you are in real life, you're going to be very gifted here. Also, you're going to be very socially inept, as if you are spending your spare time reading MY stuff, then your life really went down the rabbit hole.

Don't yell at me, but you're not going to be such a big phan in the first few chapters... sorry but I had to... and you're gonna be a big fan of anime.

"Pencils down! Time's up!"

Everyone dropped their pencils down, except for a few students who were still scribbling away, trying to jot down just a few more answers. You wipe your palms on your sweater. This was it.

"Alright, those of you remaining can go home now. You'll get your results in July."

The buzz of chatter soon swelled as everyone discussed the questions or complained about how long it was. You started to pack up your things. Calculator, pencil, eraser, water bottle, scrap paper. Once you were sure you had anything, you hoisted your bag onto your shoulder and joined the horde of kids exiting the school.

You had just finished the entrance exam to the gifted and talented program in Y/L/HS. Having just moved here a month ago, you had to reapply all over again. At sixteen years of age, you were a bit older than the rest of the kids, the majority of which were eighth graders, taking the exam. Though it was the end of May now, you wouldn't get your results until July, since they could only allow so many kids, and they had to worm out the rest of the unsatisfactory ones.

Once you got outside, you checked your texts and saw that your mom had asked you to walk home, since she was out running errands, and your dad was at work. It seemed that was all he was doing these days, working. But it made money for the family, which made your mom happy, so you didn't complain.

You started down the sidewalk, adjusting your bag. Though it was only May, the temperature was a sweltering 95 degrees Fahrenheit outside (35 degrees Celsius), and a bead of sweat rolled down your face in the heat.

You were almost there when your phone buzzed in your pocket. Someone was calling you. You looked at the screen and saw that Y/BF/N was calling you. You immediately picked up.

"Hello how are yo-" but she cut you off before you could say anything.

"OMG DID YOU SEE DAN AND PHIL'S NEW VIDEO?!" She practically screamed into your face.

"No, I was in fact taking an entrance exam for Y/L/HS."

"Pffft, who cares about Y/L/HS. This is DAN and PHIL we're talking about here. If you get to their comments section early enough, they may even notice you. THEY COULD LIKE YOUR COMMENT, Y/N. PICTURE THAT. Just picture it."

"I'm picturing it," you whined, unlocking the front door to your apartment.

"I commented and guess what?!"

"Dan and Phil teleported from England just to see you because your comment was fabulous?"

"I wish," she sighed. "No, but it got 500 likes in the first thirty minutes. And TEN PEOPLE have already replied to me. TEN."

"Great," you said flatly, trying to sound enthusiastic but failing miserably. You tried again. "So do you think Dan and Phil will notice you?"

"Hopefully! Maybe they will. If your comment is one of the top ones and they think it's funny, they could possibly like it!"
