As soon as you got home, your mom told you it was time for dinner. Your dad still wasn't home yet, so you and your mom ate the canned peas and the chicken she'd cooked in silence. She wrapped some in aluminum foil for your dad, and you ran to your room and flopped on your bed. You plugged your phone into the charger as you scrolled through your social medias. Suddenly, you got a message from Stella.

"Hey!" Stella said, "what's up?"

"the sky," you answered lazily. She replied with, "Are you inside?"

"uh yeah," you said.

"Then it's the ceiling," she said. You rolled your eyes. Ha, ha.

She sent you another message, "Do you not like Dan and Phil?!" Oh, no. Not this again.

"As a matter of fact, Phil flipping a bottle off his butt and Dan giving stupid advice to people with interesting problems is not my jam. My mom took away my phone for a week when she overheard his video playing!"

There was a slight pause, then she sent you a link. "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5Zd4nRqpoE. Trust me, you watched those before you were ready. You need to watch ordinary videos first." You raised your eyebrow. As you were contemplating what she meant by ordinary videos, she sent another four links: "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1jaY136B_k&t=215s, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAb6MDtLn7g, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW5REwpncII, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6VevN2mn5s." A/N Don't yell at me guys, these are actual links, these are just the videos that I thought would be the best introduction videos that I think are pretty good. Sorry if your opinion is different than mine.

She sent another message "No context, just WATCH THEM."

You sighed. Fine. If Dan and Phil was the only way to make everyone shut up, you were going to have to do it. She sent a fourth message, "oh, be careful when going into the phandom, you never come out." Well. That was reassuring.

You clicked on the first video and braced yourself for a weird video... but it was actually kind of normal and funny. Apparently Dan was talking about how you get these things called "cringe attacks," and it was kind of relatable. You clicked on the second video and it was another one of Dan's videos. Dan was pretty funny... and uh... kinda hot... A/N This was a comment I found on one of his videos so that's a reference. Not telling you what the second vid is FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF... after watching those two, the next one was a different style. This one was one of Phil's, six things I regret buying. You laughed. Poor Phil. Or better yet... Phoor Phil ;). Phil seemed upbeat and happy, unlike Dan's more sarcastic and humorous take on life. To be honest, you kind of related with Dan.... but you would probably choose Phil as a roommate.

You wondered whether the last link would be a Dan video or a Phil video. You clicked on it, and two pale boys with extremely long hair appeared on the screen... wait, were those young Dan and Phil? Oh yeah, this was the first Phil is Not on Fire video, the ones Y/BF/N yelled at you about all the time!

Wow they looked kind of like fetuses... you could see why people shipped them, especially at the end when Phil tackled Dan.

You opened up Messages and texted back, "ok, these videos are pretty good"

Stella yelled back, "TOLD YOU SO!!! DAN AND PHIL ARE AWESOME AND PHANTASTIC!!! NOW COME INTO THE PHANDOM WITH ME *Evil grin*"

She sent you the link to their channels, including the gaming channel, and you sighed and clicked on the videos. The more you watched, the more obsessed you got... you didn't notice how late it was until your mom yelled at you to go to bed. With a start, you realized it was almost eleven. You'd been watching Dan and Phil for FOUR HOURS. How is this so addicting?!
